Well it is the Broncos vs the Panthers, while I do not really have a dog in this fight, and here in the South, college ball has a bigger following. However here in Mississippi, Payton Manning's family is very popular with daddy Manning, Archie, having had a big career with Ole Miss, a popular university here. Not being a native Mississippian, and with my personal alma mater being in Missouri, the Mizzou tigers, now part of the SEC, I find my enthusiasm, for Payton Manning, not as much as my surroundings are.
But you have to get a little into the biggest game of the year no matter who is playing. Now if we set aside the problems with the long term injury concerns, we as Body Builders have to admire and respect the strength these men have. If anyone outside of these players knows that strength does not just happen, it is a BB. Dedication to training, diet and even you coaches in both fields is what it takes to reach the best of the best.
Now with all that said, I have to admit that I look forward to the game so I can also enjoy 1 or 2 beers, some foods that are not on my day to day menu, like chili, and a nibble of dip and chip(s)...LOL. But since the important part does not begin until late afternoon, I still was able to do my workout...even tried a little harder...what ever motivates you.
Speaking of motivation, for those of us, still working our way up the ladder of BB, some time things seem to slow down or get stuck, so like I always say, everything you need is on this site, so I came across this great post from GTI Steve who reposted a great article he found. It really helps refocus on the important area's you need to grow, and the area's that can trap you, stalling your growth. Read it at: timwescott.proboards.com/thread/4677/growing-reasons-why
Well it is time to get ready for the game, so I hope every one is still on track to meet their BB goal this year, I know you will reach it...as always, Tim, I would love to know how you are doing, and hope to hear from you.
Go Broncos!!!! ( that is for my in- law family,....After all I still have to live here....LOL)
