Thanks to you guys,who are a constant sorce of inspiration to me,I won the Over-50 under 176 pound class............first place baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #btrophysmiley2ee# When I got to the contest,I heard they were splitting up the Masters contests into two classes................under 176 pounds and over 176 pounds,because there were so many contestants. I figured what the hell,so I jumped into the Over-35 also, and snagged 3rd. place trophy there as well......... in a class of 15 guys!!! #woohoo8ad# There was 18 guys total in the Over-35, and 9 total in the Over-50...................standing room only. It felt great to posedown for the overall in the Over-50 contest, as I hadn`t been there in quite some time. My carb depletion /carb load/water drop worked like a charm for the first time ever, as I got dryer and denser, as the morning went on. I think my physique,though not much bigger, was much improved, as my quads were seperated to the max, and my hams were much thicker, as well as my back and triceps. I`m psyched for the New England, and I know I`ll be better than I was here with the extra time to diet. I appreciate the support guys................living up here in the land that God forgot, where I am the only bodybuilder for hundreds of miles, makes it tough to stay focused at times...................you guys at WOTW, and my friends on a few other boards keep me connected and focused...............it means more than you can imagine to me living here with not much incentive to do anything other than to go cowtipping!! You have worked hard and been focused all preps long, YOU ARE DESERVING THIS GREAT RESULT and, i'm sure, the great FEELING that must comes with this victory! ... Thanks for the constant support Mo...............it really means a lot to me . I am so psyched right now,I wish I could speed up time and hit Boston tomorrow while I`m still feeling so high! When they were announcing the place winners I was thinking................."here I go, second place again".............I literally jumped for joy when he announced me as the winner...............great feeling as you know!! The show was huge, contrary to what I heard about it..................................over 60 contestants, with a lot of crossovers, and the place was so packed there was standing room only, with people 5 deep in the back of the auditorium, and people lining the walls. |

"I got dryer and denser, as the morning went on" So Tim, It wasnt easy to be in the toilet every 10 minutes the days before the show, but it seems that it worth it! Will you use the same strategy for the Boston contest? Congrats again Tim… it's great to see your enthousiasm! The knowledge of a veteran with the enthousiasm of a rookie that's the kind of package i like! Marie-Eve is congratulating you also Tim!

Mo,please tell Marie-Eve that I siad thank you for me!! Yes,I will use the same strategy..............don`t know if I can duplicate the results exactly, a second time,but it`s definately worth the attempt. Just got home from a very brief leg session at the gym,and I`ll explain a bit about how I dropped water later on today once I get a bit of rest and food in me!! |
