Yes. He won the Masters Nationals in 2004. He looked fantastic.

I would have placed John Simmons higher than Stewart.

I too agree that Bob was a worthy winner,but I would have had Rusty or Pavol in second,with McRary fourth,despite his symmetry problems,and Claude who was conditioned very well in fifth.

Claude IMO has really wrecked his physique by trying to get too big.....waist is waaaay too thick now!

Rusty looked great, maybe a little smooth, but certainly no reason for him to not be top 5 if not top 3!!! But honestly, I think Rusty is being punished for his alter-ego, Carl Hardwick. If that is what the guy has to do in order to make ends meet, well that's what he has to do, and shouldn't be punished for it.
Pavol should have been 2nd, no question. Groulx should have been last. Guy has a waist wider than the Michelin Blimp! Johnny Stewart shouldn't have been top 5, and Darryl Stafford could have taken his place in the line-up of the top 5...for what we have to work with here.
With judging calls as these, I'm sure the PDI will get many new and willing athletes to participate in no time.

He doesn`t look bad, but has a very short torso, and would look more streamlined if he was lighter..........he`d be sharper also!!

The fact that Rusty was not top 2 or 3 screems of robbery. Chic, well all I gotta say is that it appears this was a foregone conclusion even before the show. I do not mean that in a good way either.

I was there. I would love for a judge to explain to me how Rusty was not in the top 5! That was just crazy.

Bob did deserve the win, Pavol should have been 2nd, he was hard as nails, the pics don't do it justice.

I was there and Rusty and John Simmons were not only robbed, but left for dead.

Chic was touted as the winner before the show, so this was no surprise. He did look very good, but should have been 3rd behind Rusty and Pavol. Pavol was actually a bit harder than Rusty but Rusty is a superior poser and displays himself much better. His mediocre presentation has held Pavol back many times.

Just my opinion, but would have it Rusty, Pavol, Chic, Simmons and Groulx.

Spoke with Rusty and his wife Francy. Great people, and he wanted better, but was still glad he came and took his shot.

YB, from what I hear...........Rusty just poses in the mags and as far as the flicks,has no contact with other men.

IMO Rusty should have won, hands down. We are supposed to be judging physiques, not lifestyles! For what it's worth I had Pavol in 2nd and Chic in 3rd....... Johnny Stewart!!!!WTF!!!!!

YB, Rusty never did any gay porn to my knowledge. He posed for some suggestive solo photos at one time, but that was it. From what I've heard there are male and female athletes who have done far worse.

Rusty is critcized for the photos, mustache, etc. But Keith is right. It's the physique that is supposed to be judged on that stage and nothing else. Unfortunately, with the subjectivity and political climate that exists, that may never happen (OK, off soapbox).

As far as the movies/photo shoots he's done..... #smileydunno9gx# I don't care.
One thing is for sure, he was ROBBED and he was obviously punished for SOMETHING up there.

Could not have summed it up better or more to the point, mrky.

The whole show was a disastrous joke actually. Started at 6:50 and ended about a quarter of midnight! The Masters Pros seemed to be sandwiched between the qualifiers. There were music glitches galore and even a "wardrobe malfunction" in the figure qualifier! At least her back was to the audience when her top fell down!!

The highlight of the night was Rusty's routine. He should have at least been given a best poser award.
