Choose one bodybuilder of any era whom you would like to train one on one with pick up his brain on training, nutrition etc...whome would you choose and why??
Mine would be a Dorian Yates
Dorian Yates because I consider him to be a thinking man's bodybuilder. One of the pro's who actually talked sense with his training/nutrition regimen having that blue collar work ethic and undying determination and not holistically relying on genetics & steroids only to get the job done. He also revolutionized the sport and the bodybuilding world with his training and made the regular people to really re-think their approach in training.

Derik Farnsworth.
I have actually had the pleasure of talking with Derik at length, and would love to do so again. I've never trained with him, but a good friend of mine does regularly. He is a bodybuilder's bodybuilder. A true warrior, not enamored with the current BS and much more of a purist than most guys on the pro scene today.

Also Yaz Boyum. I talked to her for about 1/2 hour at the Arnold once. She really gets the spirit of bodybuilding, a lot like Derik. Too bad more people like her and Derik are not at the top of the sport.

I actually trained with John DeFendis, and Tim is right....you had two choices: die or finish the workout....NOTHING in between! 55 set leg workouts were the norm and everything else got between 30-40 sets, and that was double splitting, 4 on- 1 off. I really don't see how it would be humanly possible to train any harder than John did! I consider myself fortunate to have had the chance to be there. Because of John, I fear nothing in the gym...he taught me to take my body places few ever go!

Well I'm going for Rachel McLish because she presented a package that even today is strong and sexy, something that all female bodybuilders should aspire to!
