Well its game day for Rage on the Stage Part 2! Weighed in this morning at 161. Feeling pretty good but i dont like how i look. I look like i am not tight enough. Loose skin type look. I dont know. Followed my diet to the T so who knows. Havent had water since 5p yesterday and i am thirsty as sh*t. Took in carbs the last 2 days and i look flat as hell still. Hopefully i can get my skin to tighten up some around me yet. If i told ya what my breakfast was going to be, ya'll would probably fall over and faint. I will update the best i can and will call who's numbers i have after pre judge. As of weigh ins last night there were about 6-7 including me in both of my classes.....

Good luck to you!
I'm no competing bodybuilder but do know a lot about presenting one's self.
Remember: positivity is a force multiplier! If you feel it in your mind, you will exude positivity and confidence outwardly. And that can overcome many seeming imperfections (either perceived or real).
Hit that stage like you are going to eat them alive and you will.

Just spoke with Hoop. Prejudge has concluded.
His novice class was rushed on stage without warning, so he had no time to pump up. He went on stage cold and flat, and does not expect to be higher than 5th. Ridiculous that he didn't get a 10 to 15 minutes heads up so he could get a pump going.
He was able to get pumped up for the open, and it looks like he will place higher in that class. His pals said he looked jacked and fuller.
I won't be on line tomorrow, but I'm sure he will come on and post results and photos. He just wanted me to alert everyone about this morning.

Well i have good points and bad points about this ornings events. My novice class had 6 of us in it. Now we got rushed so FAST that i had just enough time to get oiled up and NO time to pump up. I went on stage cold and flat and pissed off. After Novice i ran down to the pump up room and got ready for hte open which had 4 of us in it. Came on stage for the open class jacked and ready. So i am not expecting much from the novice but the open i am not sure. Just doesnt seem like its going well for me this show. Had a HORRIBLE headache at pre judging that made it hard to concentrate and pose. Had to really fight through it whichi know hurt me. Just not feeling good about myshow this time....

Talked to Hoops on the phone. Confirmed all the above...but he's coming out swinging!
Multi tasking with contest and "life" stuff is tough...even on a normal day!
You can do it Bro! Give'em hell!

Hoopie, Dude you looked so much better during the open. Pumped and the lines were starting to come out. We discussed how difficult it was too carb up this morning. I'm thinking perhaps either stress led to your condition or you may have overspilled somewhat, which would explain why you were looking better between rounds, due to sweating out the water. You gave it your all buddy, and have ever reason to be proud! Hang in there I think you are fighting for 3rd in your open class. You also looked very proffessional too. Best of luck!

Bump for the results.
Win,lose,or draw,Hoops is still the champ in my book, dude had a hell of a schedule on a contest day,and that had to be tough, but very admirable.
Just makes my respect level go up big time. #bowdown3ht# #teamwotwsf4#

Well folks i took 5th in the Novice lite weight and i Took 4th in the Open welter weight.. All they did was transfer the results from the novice to the open class. I had no chance to redeem myself. I was basically screwed from the get go without being able to pump up for the novice. I had several people tell me i look so much beeter in the open and that i should have been 2nd or no lower than 3rd. Seems i have been on both sides of the fence now when it comes to judging. The NABBA judge as to how you looked and the NPC just tranfered the results from one class to the other. I like the NABBA. I am very disappointed with my show......HOWEVER i will not let it stop me from my goal in this sport....FIRST PLACE!!!!!!
GAME ON TO THE NEXT SHOW......(SOON TO BE ANNOUNCED)

Congrats Steve,I know how you feel about the politics involved in this sport and trust me,if you compete, you will feel politics at some time or another......we all do and probably will again.
Still,not too shabby buddy! #arockon6ha#

Congrats Bro. Sorry I could get to your phone calls. I was in an MMA fight event all day/ night. Very loud in there. I was trying to understand your voice mails. All I got out of it was something about fith and something else about going to pig out!!! No worries man. Doing any more shows this season?

Hoops, good job bro, I wish I could have made it up there, but I coach and we had a practice yesterday, and another this evening.
The NPC has always followed those rules with crossovers. They do not let placings change the way NABBA does, that's how its always been across the NPC. At least its consistent if anything. But I truly think people can change between classes just by pumping up, sweating it out etc. so I think they should be judged as they are in THAT class. JMO.
Good job with the shows man, it was great to get to meet you, and I hope I will again someday.

Hoops! Congrats Bro!
Reminder...
YOU WON..before you ever stepped on the stage...you are a better Steve than you were last year!
Like Tim said, We have all experienced the poltics. I know I have too. Don't sweat the small stuff..there are guys who did NOT bring home any hardware, and there are guys who just can't hang..like we do. We are...elite!
Rest, enjoy...then get your azz back in the gym. Our work isn't over here.
We have the same goal...no doubts...NUMBER ONE!
My hats off to ya Bro!
