Just a very brief rundown. I was slightly surprised to see Carl tonight, I did not know this show was on the list. Unfortunately time did not permit a meeting. Hope you don't mind me posting this Carl. The show was rather small this year unfortunately the toughest class was the one Carl was in. He got 5th if I recall correctly. I am only going to post about 4 pics because I have to go to bed. I have a great many pictures. At least 20 plus of Carl plus plenty of others. My honest opinion is more tan was needed and oil. Carl looked great but this class was tough!! BTW my training partner known locally by some as a 'legend' I heard tonight. Dale Fink - entered the open class, at 53 years young he refused to enter the Masters Class and I witnessed this first hand during registration. Dale won the entire show! Now for a few pics. More pics and info tomorrow. Carls pic first. And I apologize for the size of these. I will resize then tomorrow and repost.  |

The "Old Man" who won the show! Dale Fink - I am VERY, VERY proud of my training partner. Just and FYI - The pics as I know you are all to familar with do nto shwo the true definition of the gentelmen I have photos of. THe guys in Carls class and especially Carl himself - the guys all look much better on stage. IF a photo shoot quality shot could be done it would take setup time and exposure settings, etc that cannot be done during a posing routine or any stage posing. It's just too fast and dynamic. I dont think anyone knew Carl was doing the Canton. Wish we would have!!!! Anyway BIG CONGRATS also to Carl!!!

Placing if I remember correct is as follows for the above pic.
From left hand of picture to right
4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, DNP, 5th
A lot of people felt that Marcus Cooper the young black man in the middle should have had the class but it did not go that way.
I also think Carl should have had 4th but it was close.

Carl - I have some very large photos that I saved in case you want to get a copy of these.
Please let me know either way - They are large and I won't be able to hold them on the harddrive for too long.

Hey man thanks for the photo post. I had a lot going on this past week and couldn't get the tan on before Sat. Oh well. I also added 14 pounds since my last show last month, I thought to try the bigger is better look. It turned out to be a bad idea I guess. I will lose a few pounds and come in more crisp for this weekends show the Francois Classic in Columbus.
