Sareen.........Thanks, once again, for the kind words. I think anyone who gets up on stage ( in shape!), is a champion of sorts. A true competitor goes into every show wanting to win, as do I. BUT you have to have tremendous focus and willpower, 24/7 in training ,and diet. This is when it's about pushing your body beyond anywhere it's been before. The athletes are TREMENDOUS at that level. Take a look at some pics of Eric Brugh, who posts as EBA84 here, and you will see what kind of athlete is on the National stage. These are the best in the whole country!! I can't tell you how excited I am to be able to compete up there with them. As I always say...... you can only give it EVERYTHING you have, then let the chips fall where they may.....I know I have been giving it everything I have! Keith

I wanted to thank all of you guys,...Karrie,too!,....for your support and encouragement. It feels great to know you have so many people pulling for you. It really means alot to me. I've been training and dieting my ass off since January 1. One thing I can guarantee...I'm not leaving anything in the gym. I'm giving it everything I've got...we'll see where the chips fall. I also have definitely committed to 3 contests this year. The West Palm, on June 23rd, Open and Master's Over 40. The NPC Master's Nationals July 19-20 in Pittsburgh, Over 40 Welterweight and Over 50 Middleweight classes. And, my final contest for the year will be the NABBA Master's Nationals in October, Master's ( Over 40), and GrandMaster's ( over 50). Not sure where I'll fall, height class wise in the NABBA show. Never done anything except NPC shows, which are all weight class divisions. Again, THANK YOU to all who responded in such a positive way!! The WOTW Family!! I forgot to include one more contest I am considering: The NGA Pro Qualifier held down here in Ft. Lauderdale on November 10. It depends on how I am feeling after the two Nationals contests, AND, also, where the football team I coach is, in regards to the playoffs. I already will have to miss a late season game due to competing in the NABBA Nationals, and if my boys make the playoffs I feel I made the committment to be there with them. We'll see..... Keith

MC! Fantastic Pics Bro! Lot of hard work there!
Mind if I make one posing critique?
Your back double bi is great. But I would bring my arms just a bit higher to have the illusion of higher peaks in your biceps. Your rear delts are great but seem to be overpowering your bi's. IMO by rasing your arms just a bit higher might even that out.
Very nice back shot....the above adjustment would make it perfect!
Gerry T...what do you think?
Good luck Bro......... ;D

Good point, Frank. Raising arms a bit would flare lats a bit more and bring out all the upper back muscularity.
Already looking forward to July!

Gerry, I think that shot would have looked better if I were squared to the camera....I was on an angle to the camera, so that may have thrown things slightly off proportion wise. Also, those were just some informal shots under less than great lighting...believe me, I hit and hold my poses with alot more focus and precision come contest time. I was trying to dislplay the thickness and detail that is there right now. If there's one thing I've learned over all these years of competing it's how to nail those poses when the money's on the line. I learned from one of what I consider the best posers ever...Johnny D!

Johnny D was one of the top posers of his time. Classic and masterful! Agree 100%,Keith. Can't learn from anyone better!
And true, photos can be deceiving. Angle shots can make things look different for sure.
