I just received this today from a co-worker
ATTITUDE "The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church... a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude........I am convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes." Charles Swindoll

Here is another that I have liked for some time. It is actually off of one of those Successories framed pics. I got it for my Dad once as he was always the one challenging me to go after my dreams, to never give up, and to put it more than the other guy is willing to.
"Excellence is the result of caring more than others think is wise, risking more than others think is safe, dreaming more than others think is practical, and expecting more than others think is possible." Thanks. Derek

Just heard this one yesterday "The past should be a place of reference NOT residence."

I came across this in a book I'm reading. I thought it was fantastic:
Old Cherokee Legend
“The Legend of the Two Wolves “
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I'm not sure if it's the right place to post that, but:
"Think about that... When you are mad or angry because your workout is not going as well as it could... tell yourself that your worst night in the gym is still a lot more satisfying than your better day at work" ;D

We can win this if we have our priorities in order. First is God. Second is family. Third is the Green Bay Packers: Vince Lombardi

Or "If you find a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life."
