What if there were NO supplements at all. Do you think that you would still be as succesful as you are now?

I think I would be because most supplements don't work for me anyway... so I've had to learn to eat whole food 'properly'...

Yes,I basically only use whey for its conveinience and creatine momohydrate which I know I could live without.
Not a big beleiver in hyped up supps personally as I thnk most are just crap designed to take your cash.
Food is the best anabolic around..........now if I only had a bigger appetite................................

I think there are worthy supplements around. But not many, and all the ones I believe in are the same thing-protein. Nitric Oxide I think it crap. Glutamine I've used and liked but really think that it's a 50-50 thing and I wouldn't really waste my money on it again. Creatine, you can use that once or twice a year, but I see no real point in any more than that. Other than the above supplements, I would just use protein powders and it's building blocks; BCAA's, EAA's and that's about it. Like Tim said, Food is the most powerful anabolic you can use. Use it to your advantage at all times.

Antioxidants, multivitamin, efa's does it for me combined with good wholesome meals followed by heavy, high volume-high intensity training the old school way.

Same thing here! The only important supplement for me is protein powder… since they are very convenient! In addition to that, in some occasions during the year, I may have some creatine or NO product, but it's far from being a must!
I hope that some bodybuilding newcomers are going to see this thread! Too often they believe that supps are the key, and they invest way too much money on it! But maybe seeing all the comments here about nutrition, training and attitude would change their point of view!
