ha..came back from the super market..got myself some sugar free syrups made by Torani. Got the Chocolate, Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Caramel. That's all the sugar free they had...unless i chose the Atkins Strawberry and Rasberry..or Maple "Thick" syrup. But i have something against Atkins..so yea.. Still not sure what flavor i should mix into the batter tomorrow...and what flavor i should top my pancakes with. I'll try 3 of the 4. 1 flavor in the batter. and 1 flavor for each cake ...( i usually make 2) So far...the Chocolate smells really Deep and STRONG. Not like milk chocolate...like DARK CHOCO.. Hazelnut was really really good smelling..probably best of the 4 Vanilla was original. Caramel..ehh.....its okay..i'll try to top it off. I think i'll make Hazelnut pancakes.....and top off 1 pancake with choco syrup...and other with caramel..see how much i hate or love the flavor. ;D www.torani.com

I don't so much have anything again Atkins per-se... LOL, the way I eat (and the volume), I just can't afford to pay those kind of bucks for a splash of syrup. That's why I started making my own and you can add these flavors to it so it's unique or "specialty" each time HAHA!!! Max, is it just plain chocolate or is it like... Bavarian chocolate or something else... Yeah the Torani is good stuff . Glad you finally found some!!! mmmm... I'm getting hungry ;D T PS - I'll take some pictures this weekend. I like to use Splenda -- Stupid Costco here sells boxes quite cheap but for some reason they switched to packets (LOL, like I want to open 1.5 cups worth of packets!!).

I got the plain Chocolate one...i just took all the sugar free flavors i can find. They also had Da Vinci..but that was a bit more expensive....and Torani was on Special at Smith's supermarket. All i can say is that...if i add the Chocolate in the batter..woohoo!!! it'll look like the IHOP choco pancakes.!

LOL, that's the spirit ;D mmmm, chocolate The one time we bought Torani it was from a "low carb" store and we paid triple the price, LOL, from what it cost at our regular store. It's funny though, the same couple brands kicking around all over the place. T

I have a recipe for waffles and it's slightly different than the egg white pancakes... don't remember how different and I don't have it here at work with me. Will see if I can find it on the weekend.
I don't think waffle irons come much different. They're small like that...
Don't bother trying the whipped cream thing in the blender, LOL I guarantee it won't work (haha, tried it). You just end up with really bubbly milk, LOL ;D

Costco is out to get you Troy. ;D May want to try Wal-Mart or Sam's club if you have them in Alberta. Wal-Mart sells Splenda at what Spleda says is the equivalent of a 5lb. bag of sugar for about $5US.

I don't think our WalMarts carry Splenda... I really want a 5lb bag (equivalent). Stupid Costco, LOL.
Can get it at a few places but they had a great price on a three-pack... same price as ONE box at Sobey's. LOL!!

wow...tried 3 flavors today..hazelnut, choco, and caramel.
I dump 2tbsp of hazel nut into the batter...and drizzle choco and caramel on the pancakes.
Man..the syrup was overpowering the hazelnut flavor...
maybe i should try using Chocolate into the batter..gives it some color...and use 1 syrup at a time.
But it was all SWEET and good!! ;D Better than ihop even.

I'm already thinking of copying IHOP pancakes...:
Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes Throw in banana...or use 2 tablespoons of banana syrup. 2 tablespoons Macadamia nut syrup. TOPPED with coconut syrup or Pineapple.
Cinnamon Apple Pancakes 2 Tablespoons of Green apple syrup. Chopped green apples 1 teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon Topp it off with more sprinkle of cinnamon on top of the chopped apples.
German Pancake 2 Tablespoons of German Chocolate Cake syrup.
Chocolate Chip Pancake 2 Tablespoon Cookie Dough syrup Top it off with Chocolate and Vanilla syrup
Harvest Grain'n Nut Pancake 2 Tablespoons of Almond syrup. Topped with pancake syrup.
Chunky Monkey Pancake 2Tablespoon banana syrup Top it off with Almond and Macadamia nut syrup.
Peanut Butter Cup Pancake 2Tablespoons of Chocolate syrup. top off with peanut butter syrup.
Smores pancakes. 2 tables spoons of Gingerbread syrup Top off with Chocolate and Marshmallow syrup.
There are just too many possibilities!!! But once i'm done with the 4 flavors i have..i'm going straight for the Da Vinci.: Banana, Almond, Toasted marshmallow, Gingerbread, eggnog, cookie dough, ahahhahtoo many to choose. ;D

That takes a good cook. You can douse raw veggies with the syrup but... that'll get old FAST ;D T
