Thanks Tim and Keith, I've also trained alone most of the time. I've had a few partners over the years that have been really good ones, but you have to be able to train on your own don't you!

5:00 am cardio 16min 182 cal.
4:00 pm legs!
squats 185x10 225x10 315x6 365x6 405x6 405x6 405x5
nautilus leverage leg press 18 plates x 8 18 plates x 8
dumbbell lunge 50x10 50x10
stiff leg deads 365x6 365x5
This was definitly one of those days when I show up at the gym not knowing what to expect. I had a great leg workout! I've been on practically zero carbs for the past two days and did not go into the gym feeling particularly strong. I swear I think its the CSM!
I obviously didn't break any records or anything but I'll take it! I need to go heavier on lunges next time. I'm still testing my knee. Little pain today, no biggie!

5:am cardio 16min. 175cal.
4:00pm chest and abs
incline dumbbell press 65x10 80x6 95x3 125x7+1 125x5+1
flat dumbbell press 120x5 120x4+1
dip 55x6 55x5
cable crunch stackx15 stackx11
lying leg raise weighted 35x10 35x10
wood chop 120x15 120x15 per side
Good workout today! The guy who was spotting me on my presses kept helping too much on the last rep so I didn't count them.
Getting closer! Weighed 206lbs. today, I should be within 10 lbs. of my contest weight. Getting rid of those last vestiges of body fat means the difference between winning and just being another body on stage!

Thanks guys! I'm just trying to keep the weights and intensity up as much as possible at this point!
I'm feeling good, Hoopie! Training for these shows messes with your head at times but thats where experience pays off. You just have to stay the course and realize that if you stay on track you will succeed!

Thanks chan, Randy! I can't wait to get on stage again!
Randy, I used to be alot stronger on pressing exercises. I've had so much trouble with tendinitis in my elbows that its really hampered me in recent years. The good news is I'm feeling much better since I dropped barbell bench presses and went with the dumbbells. In fact I'm virtually pain free! So hopefully I can get my weights up there where they should be!
