The mornings are getting harder to get up at 4am, I'm getting low carb road rage, low carb office rage, etc. lol I noticed, my energy is getting less and my patience even lesser. I hear ya! When do you carb up?

RIGHT NOW, I DON'T GET TOO. ONLY 150G A DAY BUT ACTUALLY THAT'S QUITE A BIT IN MY OPINION. ALTHOUGH, I THINK MY OFF SEASON IS TOO MUCH CARBS ANYWAY. I'LL GET USED TO IT.

Saturday is and off day for weights but I hit my cardio today. I used our subdivisions exercise room and i think the Lifefitness Ellyptical is inaccurate in counting cals

Hang in Russ....low carbing it is tough,but you get used to it after a while. One meal at a time buddy and don`t kill any co-workers!! LOL LOL, Luckily the co-workers aren't the problem. It's the loan officers (externally) that send in their crap applications and we have to fix them so the borrower can get a loan. They have no clue how much they wouldn't fund if it weren't for us correcting their mistakes. Sometimes I wonder how they even make it in the industry.

No, carb sources right now besides greens are : cream of wheat (plain), sweet potatoes, brown rice. You think I shoudl change over to only greens for carb sources?

Just an update. I am now 3 days out form my first show. Today started my water depletion process along with my carb loading. Sunday was the start of pre-contest diet where I ate 40g protein 8x a day and only 25g carbs by 3pm. Monday was same protein intake but reduced carb to 10g. Tuesday was same protein count but ZERO carb.
Wed 40g protein (times) 8 - 12 - 4 - 8 25g carbs (white rice) 12 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8
1/2 Gallon water for day, taraxatone 2 pills 3x daily
Thurs 40g protein 8 - 12 - 4 - 8 25g carbs 8a - 10 - 12 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10p 1/4 gal water/ 2 taraxatone 3x daily
Fri 40g protein 8 - 12 - 4 - 8 40g carbs 8 - 10 - 12 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 NO WATER / 2 tarax. 3x daily 10pm 8oz steak/lg baked potato/ broccoli 11pm slice of chocolate cake

WELL IN CASE NO ON HAS HEARD I PLACED 2ND IN THE OPEN NOVICE NPC HURRICANE BAY CLASSIC! Short guy beat me out with better legs and leaner low abs but I'm sure he was on gear. It was a great experience and I look forward to this weekend's Lakeland Classic since I'll be much dryer and leaner than last week. I'm hoping to drop 3lbs so I can enter the Middleweight right at cut off. Fingers crossed, carb depleting is almost over, and water dep[letion begins tomorrow as I begin to carb up. Thanks all for your advice especially Gerry T, TIM, and a few others whom names I can't remmber since I haven't had but 10g carbs yesterday am. lol
