I'm hunting the net but all I can find so far is this:
April 26 '08 marked the 10th Anniversary for Fitness Atlantic and with well over 200 athletes competing the show ran from 9:00am until 10:30pm non-stop. The finals were sold-out before the morning of the show turning away hundreds of people at the door at the night show.
We would like to thank the athletes for their patience since the event ran without any breaks to make for a long day. We would also like to thank our event staff and judges for working so hard to make this event happen with so many competitors.
We look forward to adding results, photos and video clips from the contest and as always new updates and information each week.

Hey Gang. What a LOOOOOOOONG day. Mo placed 3rd in the light heavies. VERY tuff competition. The kid who placed 1st (unbeatable) went on to win the overall. MO looked FANTASTIC, of course! His routine blew everyone away. It was very entertaining. Mo being MO ;D..... He also did his very best to have fun with the day and the competition. Something I think the sports needs more of. Mo has a great personality and stage prescence. Proffesional, but fun! It was truly great to see him and Marie Eve compete live. It was a very long day, but well worth it! At some point I hope to compete along side Mo. This would be a great experience. The timming was just all wrong this time. Although Mo did hint around to retirement  Marie Eve was spectacular as we expected. VERY tuff day for the girls. 33 fitness competitors! Thats right, 33!!!!!!!!! OH MY! They only slected the top 10 to do their routines at the night show. Unfortunatley M. E. did not qualify. I thought for sure she would have. You never know in this crazy sport. Either way, she was increadible and it was a pleasure to see her perform. All in all it was a great weekend, even though they MADE me eat at Taco Bell and McDonalds.. We had alot of fun in such short time. It always wonderful to see our two best Canadian friends. May there be many more great times! |
