Who makes Waxy Maize? Don't think I have ever seen any. May need to be trying it. I get mine from www.trueprotein.com I've been reading good things about it for a couple of years. I like that it works without inducing a huge insulin spike. I noticed a difference almost immediately when I switched from dextrose in my post workout shake.

Yup- true protein is my usual source (they list it under carbs:amylocel
Also- there's a product called Carb Slam at bb.com that is also Waxy maize.

30 min. treadmill, 399 cal. Kicked butt on cardio today! Pumped up like mad from my chest and tri workout! Lookin pretty ripped, I promise I'll try to get some pics posted this week!
meal 1 10 egg whites/2 yolks BCAA's/glutimine
meal 2 6oz. tuna 2oz. mozzerella
meal 3 7oz. chicken breast 4 cups salad/vinegar and oil dressing
meal 4 27g whey
pre workout 27g whey/6g bcaa's/5g glutimine/5g creatine
pre cardio 6g bcaa's/5g glutimine
post workout 40g whey/38g waxi maize/6g bcaa's/5g glutimine/5g creatine
I swear this supplementation combination is the most effective I've ever done.

I made the decision to "lighten" up a little on squats and keep it at or above 6 reps for the remander of my contest prep. Just seems a little safer when I get this depleted I feel weeker anyway.
leg press 850x9,8

sldl 225x8,275x8,315x6
Pretty good workout today, not the best not the worst. I had good focus and intensity thoughout though.
No cardio on leg days.

My first show is Oct. the 11'th (Bluegrass Classic) and the second one is Nov. 8'th (Kentucky Muscle) Their both non tested national qualifier's so you never Know who's going to show up, so my motto is BE READY!! LOL I really am going to post some pics as soon as I can get some free time to have Tina take them!

You might think about upping your BCAA's during the workout- mind you, far be it from me to have any clue about contest diets... but for your size I believe a recommended dose (of Xtend anyway) is about 4 scoops (20-25g).

Thanks Chris, I've read research that says the same thing. I may have to try it! I wonder if I should drop it pre and post and just sip on 25g of BCAA's during my workout? humm Sounds like that might work......
