CAUTION: This subject is extremmely serious
As a lot of you known, the nick name of our truly Tim Wescott is SKI... but does every body know why? ;D
So this is the thread for the one WHO DONT KNOW to try a explaination!
NO SPOILER PLEASE ;D ;D ;D
Ok, let me try first:
Tim always have the idea that in training, Ski is the limit! (Let hope that i dont guess it right... because the Thread will end here ;D)

i know the story that tim insists is the reason (he has shared it on the board before), but here I am with the exclusive inside scoop!!! this is the REAL story:
When tim first started training, many many MANY moons ago, the other cavemen in the gym made fun of him quite liberally. They had a plethora of nicknames for poor tim, but the insult that seemed to have the longest shelf life was that Tim was as big and thick as a mosquito. Over time, the regulars got tired of saying "That tim is about as big as a mosquito," so they eventually just started referring to him as "THE Mosquito" then it was shortened even further to "Skeeter," and then just to plain ol' "Ski"...
So there you have it! A nickname born out of a adolescence of abuse.

tim'll prolly come on here spouting off some nonsense about "Timski" and the good ol' days, but trust me, that's just tomfoolery and nincompoopery on the part on an embarassed Board Administrator...the story that i just parlayed: that's the real deal truth

I figured him being in upstate NY where it snows, he had to ski to the gym. So when he walked in the gym and kicked of his boots and skis, they said "Hey Ski, whatcha training today?"
Hence the name Ski was born........

In the spirit of numerologists everywhere......... S is the 19th letter of the alphabet K=11 I=9 19+11=30 Add the two digits from 11 to obtain 2. 9^2 is 81 81-30 is 51. 51*19 is 969 which is the last known age of Methuselah (Genesis 5:27)  Coincidence? I think not! Is Tim trying to tell us something? Forget the DaVinci code, I smell an NYT #1 bestseller! |
