Final stages are going very well. Drying out nicely. Weight, I believe, is dropping just low enough to keep me in light heavy weights. Should be in the top of the class after carb load. Good stuff.

Well guys. Its been a LOOOONG day. Just got in and showered. OMG! The show was fun. I did not break the top 5. I went into the show knowing this may happen, but its still a bit dissapointing.. The classes were big and very tough. Man, alot of great athletes. WOW! I am now ready to move on anyway. I am glad I did this show to get me back into the swing. I did learn that the show day carb up foods are not a good idea for me at all. I looked much better the whole last week, all the way til Friday. High fat/ High Protein/ High water, seem to do me good. As soon as we bring any more than one carb meal into the game plan I go right off... Strange, but true. My body just does not seem to process carbs very well Anyway, with that being said, I plan to do my next day of show no different than any other day. Thanks for the support and for checking in. I will get a few pics up when they are uploaded.

All the hard work you have done makes you a BIG winner Ran. Most only think about doing a show but never do. Best part of it is what we learn about ourselves. GREAT job

I'm proud of you Randy! It takes a special person to commit to entering a show and you put forth the effort no doubt. Just take what you learned from this one to improve for next time.
The best advice I can give to anyone is it takes time and persistence to get into the winners circle. Also its been my experience and I think you've already mentioned this is all the last minute carb up strategy's don't always work and can work against you. Last year I tried the beef and grapefruit diet the last day and a half before my show to dry me out and I ended up flat. Bottom line if it ain't broke don't fix it!
You will succeed because you have the heart of a champion!
