So sorry about my long absence..............I`m currently typing up an explanation of where I `ve been and why I have been gone so long on Word Pad. I`ll post it here as soon as I get it completed. Nothing good to tell, except that I`ll be back posting daily once again..............actually,that may not be too good either!! Thanks for hanging in there and keeping our board going in my absence.

First of all,I just got bored with the bodybuilding and training in general. This is something that used to frequently happen to me years ago, and I would often quit training and start drinking...............usually this was caused by depression.............. as the training was great, but other facets of my life had gone to sh*t or just weren`t balanced or positive. I have been diagnosed with severe depression and an anxiety order............actually can`t remember a time in my when I didn`t have the depression. I never use this as a crutch but cope with it when it rears its ugly head.......training usually keeps me going and grounded but this time I dreaded heading to the gym. As a result,I trained half-assed 3 x a week all summer........very depressed and anxiety ridden...........also started a new side job at the same time, then my wife had a brain anuerism and this was just too much. The board or other forums didn`t interest me much ,but I was still hitting the gym but eating crappy. Besides the medical problems my wife has had/still has,I just recently was on my back for 5 days with no solid food at all and was admitted to the hospital a few weeks back with an intestinal blockage.........they told me it was common..........not for me it isn`t,I never get sick. Anyway I dodged a bullet on that one and didn`t have to be operated on,but I lost about 7 pounds or so and a lot of power, that I never really regained from my pinched nerve and past elbow issues. Not a good year for me to say the least. I recently feel re-motivated and just started back training very hard and fast 5 days a week in an effort to do a few contests once again........been 2 years since I had competed. OK screw it,no more complaining, just glad to be back and thank you guys for hanging in without me. Gerry,I`m so sorry I never called you but I certainly didn`t want to talk bodybuilding feeling like I did........thanks for caring buddy!! Onward and upward !! #arockon6ha#

Tim just glad you are back. Things will get better. Depression, injury, your wife's illness have been huge crosses to bear. But it sounds like you are on an upswing, which is what I was praying for. You have a lot of people who care, and hope that is some comfort.
And you have nothing to apologize for. We can talk when you feel ready. I get times when I do not feel like talking either. Totally understandable, and no problem. Just want the best for you and your wife.
