I don`t know how Vince heard about the board, but he joined us yesterday, but has yet to post! :Rocker Dude: I was a huge fan of Vince`s back in the 1970`s, when I lifted in the 132 pound class....greatest deadlifter that ever lived in my opinion..........other lifts were`nt too shabby either!! ;D People make a big deal about Ronnie Coleman pulling 800 pounds weighing in at 300 pounds.......Vince did 800 weighing under 200 pounds!!  He also did 820 officially and 850 in the gym. I e-mailed Vince to confirm that it was actually him that joined and not just some idiot trying to impersonate him. He sent me this photo .....he is now running his own successful personal training business, and says his only employee is his Greyhound!!   |

I know Bill from ironage, and I met him personally in 2001 at a contest I did in Jersey,maybe I can talk him into posting here occasionally,he`s a great guy!! I can`t wait to hear how Vince trained his deadlift! |

This is HUGE--Vince, welcome to WOTW!!!
When I got into powerlifting in the early 90's, the deadlift instantly became my favourite lift. And YOU, Vince, were one of the idols to whom I looked for inspiration.
It is unbelievable to have you here--we are all honoured to be joined by powerlifting royalty and I am looking forward to checking out your posts.

Welcome Vince! I actually saw you compete in a bodybuilding contest in the 90's I believe. It was in Cleveland or Canton Ohio but I can't remember which show it was. Do you remember the one I'm talking about? Talk about someone with a THICK back & traps!!!!!!!!!!
