Longtime member Pscarb, aka Paul Scarboro, took first place in his class at his recent contest, and finished second overall. Insane conditioning, and he was in the best shape of his life. Paul has overcome some serious injuries to his back which still plague him,but he won anyway...................just like the true warrior he is. Congrats buddy........kick some ass in 3 weeks,we`re rooting for you !!

I live in a very rural area with no bodybuilders ,so in actuality, the people here help and support me far more than I do them............whether they know it or not. Some very serious trainees and competitors here, that`s for damn sure!

cheers guys i had missed this thread otherwise i would of replied sooner...
i cannot say thanks enough to Tim as it was whilst prepping for a show last year that i stumbled onto this site whilst trying to learn more about carb cycling..
i took Tims carb cycling philosophy and adjusted it to my own body's needs and as you can see it has worked..
i also agree with what has been said about Tim's enthusiasum(sp) towards the sport in general we definatly need more of guys like your self Tim to counter the negative people...
Like Tim has said i have overcome some bad injury's in the past the worst being paralysed in 1996 that reminds me i have a spinal injection on the 18th of may...damn..
Over in the UK NABBA is judged on height not weight i am just in Class 4 which is 166cm or below my weight onstage though was 187lbs...
i have a cpl of pics of me onstage and in the overall i will send them to tim to post up please let me know what you think. in the overall pics i was told afterwards that it was between myself and the guy on the far right he pipped me by 1 point it was close...
i had food poisening last week so my diet really only started back for the finals yesterday all steam ahead and hopefully a top 6 placing will be on the cards...
many thanks for the support guys...
Paul..

Thanks for the kind words Paul. You almost got me misty eyed there for a second.............must be that time of the month or the low carbs!! As I say in my article on carb cycling,I`m just laying down the basic premise and most everyone will have to tweak it a bit to suit their needs, goals, and bodytypes. Hang in and stay focused, you`re gonna` kick some more ass soon. Train hard!!
