One of us would just have finished a killer set of squats or something, and the other guy would go off and get that platform thingy with the rollers and say "OK, now let's kick this up a notch!" LOL.

I like kicking them around the gym. There was an overweight guy at my gym who hired a trainer who advocated these things, as well as wobble boards, and standing on one leg with the arm pointing in the opposite direction of the leg,etc. etc.,needless to say the guy lost no weight whatsoever.......... but he is an expert at standing around on one leg looking like a fat flamingo!!

I know, it drives me crazy also! One of the prefered exercises that I see trainers having their clients do at our gym is to set the bar on the Smith machine at about shoulder height and then have the trainee squat down and duck under it moving from side to side!
