now I'm talking any sort here-plain stupid or dangerous.. What are your pet hates?? For me: the hip rotation machine the butt blaster the leg extension machine the inner/outer thigh machines Explain why?

I do not necessarily think this exercise should be banned BUT I CANNOT STAND to see people doing front lat pull downs and leaning SOOOOO far back they look like they are goona fall backwards!

That was exactly my point Karrie. I did NOT say that lunges should be banned, I especially emphasised that the form some people use ( including myself ) is hillarious. It seems as though Randy misunderstood my first post and didn't understand the second at all...

the hip rotation machine- agree -total waste of time the butt blaster- agree -do full squats instead the leg extension machine- Disareee -I think they are worthwhile as long as you stay with moderate weights......a good pre-exhaust exercise to use with a quad compound movement the inner/outer thigh machines- I partially agree-I think the adductor part of the machine is a valuable exercise that more people should try. As far as the abductor part of it,just do squats,hacks,lunges,or leg presses. Just my 2 centavos!!

I think shrugs with the rotation of your shoulders should be banned. I see many people do it and I'm like.. oh man roator cuff waiting to be hurt. Its up and down people not up and then 360 circle... Unless I'm wrong on this.

It drives me crazy to see guys doing partial range of motion on every exercise they do, 1/4 squats, half bench presses etc. Then they go around bragging about how much weight they can lift! Where do they get this stuff?

Any compound lifting movement performed on an swiss ball by some poor schmuck who doesn't know any better but is paying $90/hour for a trainer to tell them it will help them with core strength.
