Well guys and gals this is the last two weeks before my show I feel like I've dieted and trained about as hard as I can for this one and I feel like I'm ready to compete!
This will be my last real week of training. The week of the show I'll train moderately on Mon.-wed. as well as carb deplete on those days.
I usually cut sodium on Thursday and drink 2 gallons of distilled water. I will start to carb up Thursday evening and continue to carb load Friday. I will take 99mg. of potassium per hr. through this process and cut my water intake in half on Friday.
Any suggestions to further enhance this process will be appreciated! ;D

Thanks Tim, Mo! I am ready! I weighed in at 199 this afternoon at the gym! Its like the last 4lbs. just fell off in a matter of days! Its weird, but I've finally got a few things right after all these yrs. It takes me 16 weeks minimum to get into shape!
Beckie, I carb up on oatmeal, potatoes, fruit, brown rice. The reason for the potassium is thats what everybody always told me to do! lol My understanding of it is that when you lower your sodium intake and increase your potassium it causes your body to temporarily store more water in the muscle cells, pulls it from under your skin. Then again it could be just another one of those things we do that just gets passed along for no good reason!
This is my 1000'th post! #woot4ho# #woot4ho#

Thank you very much Andrew! Your support through this journy has been terrific!
Mo, I feel very confident at this point, I feel I'm as ready as I can possibly be and I don't know of anything that I would have done differently to prepare. So yes I am anxious! Ready to compete!
The contest is the NPC Natural Northern USA. Its produced by Dave Lieberman and Todd Pember. I'll check I think they have a website.
