Huge is an understatement, Tim! Wanted all to know that Lance has no computer access right now, but he is aware of the thread and appreciates it very much. And he is flattered by the kind comments.
He is holding at "only" 245 right now and though he is eating relatively clean will probably start pre contest dieting around end of March for Masters Nats. He is determined to win it all this year.

"Only" 245 Gerry ? ;D Hey Ger,this thread is dedicated to him because he definately deserves it ,to say the least. It would be great if Lance could join the forum and give us his input on things.I hope he kicks ass this year and gets the elusive Pro card! Good luck Lance.

Thanks, Tim. Agree completely, Lance is really deserving of a pro card. Besides his obvious athletic attributes, he is also one of the kindest and most down to earth guys anyone would want to know. And his dedication to his goal and determination to get there are admirable. And that is why I've been trying to get the word out on him.
I have suggested to Lance that he register and post here when time and computer access are available. to him And I know he wants to have his web site updated soon as he can, and I suggested a prep report with progress photos there as well.

Glad you made it here, Texx! And what do you mean "this age"? You're competitive with any one, any age, any time.
Have a strong hunch this is your year. Keep pumping and keep posting.

FYI, check out muscleblog.blogspot.com for an interesting and informative interview with Lance. He was always athletic with a background in gymnastics and powerlifting. Good photos and reading.

Spoke with Lance yesterday. He put a week's vacation from work to good use. Training, taning, posing and cardio. Says hello to everyone.
He is about 228 right now. About on target to make top of light heavies at Masters in 18 weeks. Have a strong hunch that this will be his year.
I'll remind him to check in here when he can and update us on his progress.

Will remind Lance to check in. Latest update, he's 221 and relatively hard at that weight. On course to hit top of light heavies and overall lineup.
Lance is featured in a MHP ad in upcoming issues of MD and Musclemag. Be on the lookout. Proud of him.
This could be the best overall lineup in Masters history. Lance, Mike Patton, Tom Tognietti and others will be in top shape in a great battle in Pittsburgh on 7/24. Can't wait!

Lance has been extremely busy with prep, a guest pose and promos, so here is an update. His MHP ad is in current issues of MD and Musclemag!
He is around 211 and looking very good. Will compete in Jr Nationals 6/18-6/19 and then Masters 7/23-7/24.
Hopefully he will turn pro and do a masters world event in Hungary in September, since Masters Olympia will not take place this year.
And correction, Tom Tognietti has pulled out of Masters Nats and plans on NABBA Nationals, masters and maybe also open.
What a difference a month makes!

Tim, the photo of Lance used in the MHP ad is posted on Mayhem, in Best Guns thread in Member photo section. Must be missing something, but am clueless as to posting the photo here. Other forums have attachment sections, but son't see that here. Sorry! Great photo by Joe Lobell of www.mostmuscular.com

Gerry, I went to MM but couldn`t find the pic. To upload a pic here,go to the pic you choose, this can either be on a website or saved in your Documents file, right click on the pic, click on Properties, copy the URL,now when replying click on the image tag,it is over the reply form and look`s like a little picture, you will see brackets with URL between them, backspae the URL out and paste URL of the photo you are uploading in between the brackets. Now hit add reply and your pic should be there when finished.
I hope that`s clear as it`s a little hard to convey over the internet but would be very easy to show you in two seconds in person.

Thanks, Tim. And nothing to be sorry about! Heard from Lance today. He says hi and is sorry not to be posting here or anywhere for that matter.
He is going to do the Lone Star show on 6/5, before the Jr Nationals and Masters. He loves to be on stage and thrives on competition. Terrific to see someone with such a love of the sport. And with him, it shows on stage for sure.
He is one to beat in any show he does. Proud of him.

Lance update: He competed in the Lone Star on 6/5 as a heavywt. Won hw and overall in Masters division and was 2nd to Eric Shannon in open hw.
Spoke with Lance this morning and he barely made light heavy for Jr Nationals and won the class! He was really pleased since it was a tough class. Missed overall title by two votes.
On to Masters. Really proud of him.
