Great work Terry. I just checked out your original Jan 05 pics on OSBB and the difference is very noticeable.
I apologize if I missed this in another thread but is there a specific weight/bodyfat goal you are shooting for?

You've got some big ass legs man is that natural or you do alot of leg work? You're getting there another year you'll be tightened up nicely i bet just hang in there. BTW you're not the only one with a 44" waist and i'm carrying 280 lbs, work in progress here too.

ChrisC & Tim, Thanks for the kind words.. It's not quite the progress I'd hope for, but it's a step in the right direction, nonetheless. I guess you can't expect to undo 11yrs of damage to your body via Little Debbies & Pizza in only 6 weeks(that's how long I've been consistent on this diet). ChrisC, To answer your question, I'd like to get down to around 175-185lbs this summer & harden up at that weight for about 8-10months so I can do the NPC Natural Ohio in April of 2006. I will probably be at the top of the lightweight class or a "light" middleweight at most. We'll have to see how it goes.. The last time I did a show was 1988 as a teen, so I've got a LOT of catching up to do.

Mac, Thanks for the props! The legs have always been decent, but I've never had them shredded, only somewhat cut, so we'll have to see how they look this time around. I grew up looking to Tom Platz for inspiration.. I met him when I was 17yrs old & his legs blew me away! Funny thing was, he wasn't even in his prime, then(It was 1987).. Btw, this 44" waist will be under 39" at least by June. Keep watching!

Good attitude Terry........just keep plugging away, later when you`re in top condition you can look back on your journey and be proud of all you`ve accomplished.
The journey is what it`s all about..........it tests your mettle, but it`s great to keep trudging forward no matter what.
Set small range acheivable goals, and once you reach or exceed them, set some more and go for it!! :Taz:
We`re all behind you bro,and we`re all working towards progress just like you are so we definately can relate......that`s for sure!!
Never be satisfied! :Rocker Dude:

Thanks Peggy! Some of the poses look a bit "off", but that's only b/c I'm out of shape at the moment. I consider posing one of my strong suits. You should see me in action on stage! ha ha... I've always had a good eye for what looks right & what doesn't, even as early as my first show.. Since then, I've helped several people w/posing routines & mandatories for various shows, even though I haven't looked the part myself. Hopefully I'll get to put that talent(or whatever it is) to use for my own good next year!
Btw, I like your new avatar b/c I'm into comics, but I like the REAL thing better!

Great progress, Terry. You should be proud of yourself. Know you will achieve your goals.
Agree about the posing. You know what you're doing. Some of my beginners could learn a lot from you, I'm sure.
Good luck and keep progressing.

Thanks for the kind words, Gerry! Coming from the man EVERYONE considers the "posing guru", that is a GREAT compliment! I'm only getting started on this journey, so look for MUCH more progress & a MUCH leaner physique in the "not-too-distant" future.. As Tim just recently said, "I'm in the zone".

No doubt about it, Terry. And when you're ready to step on stage would be glad to compare posing notes with you! All the best.

You should be proud of your accomplishments.........it seems like you are really on track lately too..................props!!
Your delts and arms look much more defined, especially in the back shot.
I would tighten things up ,and get even stricter for the next 5 weeks.
At 200 pounds, you are going to look great.............stay focused buddy!! :Rocker Dude:
