Your leg workout is AMAZING!!! You are really strong!!!! I wish I could lift that much (bad knees, surgery on both ) Your hack squats are GREAT! Probably a good thing that you cut out with your neck flaring....because you will probably be able to work chest, hopefully without too much pain today.

STRONG chest workout!!!! and without a spot!!!! Watch working back if your neck still hurts. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary!!! Do you like your new stereo? I agree, about people out of shape, especially women with kids. I have so many friends that openly tell me I am lucky that I am built the way I am. I try to DRILL it into their heads that the women who are in shape make it priority and make time to get it in. We women who are in shape work hard to achieve what we look like. Sure genetics play a factor but diet and working out is huge!!!! Have a great work out tonight!!!

I also am happy to hear it is Cat scratch disease b/c it is a bacterial infection (Bartonella henselae-name of bacteria), and bacterial infections are treated with strong anitbiotics-which you are on now!!!! Actually FYI 40% of cats carry the bacteria (at some point during their lives)and you do not even know they do. Keep me updated about the spasms and shocks...... Great workout! Strength will continue to come back !!!!!!!! #bbarbellsmiley4dr# Can't wait to see new pics up this week!!!

Last nights workout. I dont know what has happened maybe the new workout routine but I feel strong as hell. Flat bb bench(no spotter gym was empty) 105x6,110x5 flat db bench 40ea x6 Inline db bench 25ea x 10,35ea x5,40ea x4 Seated Shoulder press db 25eax6,30eax5,30eax5 Side lateral ss front raises 15eax6,20eax5,20eax4 Incline db lying rear raises 15eax6,15eax5,20eax4 seated overhead extension 30x10,35x6,40x5 Rope push down (have not done these in awhile) 50x6,5,4 slow Tricep dips 6,5,4 (will add weight next time) 45mins on the stairmaster. Once I got done with all of this workout I looked like I had stood in the shower with my clothes on. My neck is slowly getting better YYYYEAAAHHH. Today is cardio only so at lunch a power walk and tonight I will do a fun bike ride with the kids. Tomorrow is leg day which I love. I am still loosing inches measured yesterday here is last measurements from 04/26/06 quads 21 hips 36.8 lower waist 31 waist 29 chest 36 05/17/06 quad 20-1/2 hips 36-1/4 lower waist 30-1/2 waist 28-3/4 chest 35(crying........) calves 13-1/2 bis flexed 12-1/4 (I have very good thickness just not a big peak damn those genetics) forearms 10" (I was working my forearms but stopped because for some reason mine grow like crazy and I did not want uneven arms) Must be genetics for those I know my oldest brother looks like popeye in the arms. Well I pretty happy with those numbers. Funny thing is I weigh so much more now than I did just 4years ago with the same measurements. 4years ago I weighed in at 105 same waist, hips, bust but legs were 17, calves were 10, arms 9. I cant believe at 127 some of the numbers are the same. I have thought about going to a alteration place so I can wear slacks again that fit. I have 7pairs in my closet that would fit in the waist just to tight in the leg area. But that is a good thing. Oh have I told all of you how much I love driving my new car! Boy it is sooooo much fun I find myself making excuses to drive... smiles s

AWESOME WO!!!!! Your strength is coming back...good! I assume you have a similar problem as I do with your pants? Loose in the waist and too tight in the legs. The GAP has stretch jeans and dress pants that I swear by. They fit my waist and stretch enough for my thighs and hamstrings. Genetics......don't get me started Can't wait to see pics!!!!

Sorry to hear about the shoulder Lynn.
You can still hit legs, plus any machines that keep the shoulder out of the movement:
Pec-Decks for chest Preacher machine for bi`s. Possibly a ton of pulley and machine work for triceps, plus back, but back might be a lot tricker to train while trying to work around an injury, and abs and calves.
Just be careful so it heals as fast as possible....shouldn`t be too long hopefully.
Good luck and keep training around it carefully.

Lynn, You are just having a time of it. I agree with Tim's suggestions. From a medical standpoint: The doctor who diagnosed you is it a Family practice/Internal medicine doctor or and Orthopaedic? Has an x-ray been done to show tendinitis? If you have not had an x-ray it could also be a rotator cuff tear. As Tim said, you can still work quite a few areas. Main thing, as us "medical professionals" say, if an exercise hurts stop and try something else. Take care...Karrie
