;D Monday was a great day at the gym. I did chest and tris and abs with 30mins cardio on bike. It was very hard not to heavy weights like I like to do but I still did moderately heavy.
Incline bench 3x8 65 DB flat bench 1x10 15lbs ea(just was to light had to go heavier) 2x10 30lbs ea seated flies 3x10 20lbs(really light so will adjust next time) bench dips 3x10 pushdowns 3x10 60 reverse grip pushdowns 3x10 40 abs 2x20
heads up I had plans on going to the gym yesterday but my 12yr old almost 13yr old has lost her mind!!!!! So needless to say I missed a day of work, had my heart broken by my own child, had to make a police report, and then had to Play Dad and Mom since my husband just got deployed last Friday, Had to scare the hell out of her so she will get her head on straight. She is not a bad child she is the child that has a 4.0 grade point average, in leadership classes and excells at anything. I would have never expected her to skip school. Funny thing is the teachers noticed very early she was not in school and the principal called me . I told her that should tell her something that she has made an impression on the teachers there and they notice when she messes up before they notice any one else doing that same thing since she is a leader, in gifted and talented and district honor roll. I really hope this is the last I have seen of this trouble. Sorry to vent just had to let it all out. So today I will try to get to the gym we will see.

Sunshine........ Life happens.......The gym will be there....it's called unconditional love.
I have a son and daughter, who have both broken my heart on multiple occasions, they (and I) have lived through it. My daughter (28 yrs old now)is now married to a good guy(school teacher), has three children and is a stay at home mom.
My son is still at home (24 yrs old now), and is the reason for every grey hair I have. I have had to play the tough love thing a few times, including throwing him out at 2:00 am. He was gone for two weeks, and then wanted to come back. I allowed him to do that, with stipulations...rehab, job, respect to parents, etc. It's been about 3 years, and he is trying, I'll give him that.
So you are not alone. I was in the military for over 14 years, so my wife and I can relate with deployments, etc. You are NOT alone.
It's temporary. She will grow out of this. She has a great Mom to set an example for her...so hang tough!!!!
We are here for you........anytime.

THank you all for the vote of confidence. I just never thought my super sweet Natalie would do this. Shoot I had experience with my now 16yr old step daughter. Guess that is what I get for getting to comfortable huh. She is feeling very remorseful today but I am going to stead fast and not budge on the restrictions. THat is one thing I am a stinkler about is following through. My gym day today will be missed due to so much stress yesterday my body is screaming at me. So tomorrow I will be doing legs, friday shoulders, Sunday back. Cardio on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Leg day will be very difficult for me since I am so use to pilling the weight up there. It will prove to be a challenge to remind myself not to go heavy since I my brain still tells me go heavy or go home lol..........

Kids, gotta love them . I'm not sure how I will react the day I find out one of mine skipped school. Luckily I have a few examples (I'm one of them ) so I try to put the fear in them by occasionally coming out with comments like "Do you want to grow up like .....? NO? Then you better never skip school!!" Sorry to hear the situation messed up your work out plans but glad to hear you are doing your best to ease into things - if you can go heavier and it doesn't hurt, go for it!!
