Karrie,the reason you have made such great progress in such a short amount of time,is because of the good vibes here at WOTW..........without WOTW,you would have gone downhill!! LOL ;D

Karrie, You gained 1/4 inch in 6-8 weeks? That is progress!! We are so simular in size, I can use you as my guide. I measured my arm and I have got quite a bit of catching up to do. Doesn't it make you feel special when that muscle pops up on your arm? Results you can see and feel..gotta love it! Yes, we are certified nuts. ;D You Saph, and Sunshine do inspire me to keep pushing! You are on a roll with these great workout sessions, so keep it up!!

[/glow]This morning I took my measurements(minus chest..long story)..anyway I have grown a bit from 6-8 weeks ago: End of April: Arms: 12in now 12 1/4! Thighs: 20in now 20 1/4 Waist: 25 3/4 now 25 1/2, has gone down and I am not dieting!! I know a 1/4 of an inch is not much but I am just over overjoyed!!! In fact my cousin, (my WO partner), I sent her a picture msg on her cell phone of me flexing my bicep and I recorded myself singing "I'm so excited" (the pointer Sisters). Yes, I am a nut!!!!! ;D Tonight's WO.....Awesome!!!!! 2nd night of body split in half: Chest: Flat bench press w/BB: 85lbs: 10x8x6 Incline presses: 30lbs DB: 10x8x6 Incline flies DB: 25lbs: 8x8x6 Back: Pulley rows: 120x10; 130x8; 140x5 Close grip pull downs: 110x12; 120x10; 130x6 Rack dead lifts: 95x10; 115x8; 135x5- I have never done these before and I am pretty excited that I did this amount of weight!!!!!!!!!!!!Shoulders: Military presses on machine-DB room too full with the guys-60x10; 70x6; 80x5 Side laterals: 20lb DB: 10x8x8 Front lateral raises: 20x8x6x6 Rear deltoids: 15x8x6x6 Cardio 20min 10% incline at 4.5mph. I am just so excited about my measurements and workout!!!! WOW!!! THAT IS AWESOME!! WOOHOO!! WOOHOO!! Congrats Kari!!! I must say I am so impressed by your strength with side laterals!!! 20 lbs!!! Sapph, Thanks sooo much!!!!! I thought of you the ENTIRE time I was doing my dead lifts. I know you do them from the floor...you STRONG woman, but I was still thinkin'of ya!!!!! The side laterals I am actually stuck at....I have been doing 20lbs for a LONG time, but my hubby assures me that they are difficult to move up on and my form is very good and strict. So I guess in time! I was pretty excited about the measurements too! I may not grow another 1/8 or 1/4 for a while but at least I can see some improvement. Especially with my arms and legs being so long, just like yours, it seems so hard to put muscle on at times....but it can be done!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!

Beckie, Yes, I have looked into the NSCA PT course and it is DEFINITELY one I am considering. I will not be able to seriously consider a course until the end of this year, so I am reading everything I can on various PT programs. Thanks again for the info!!!

Tonight's WO was just GREAT!!!! My knees were much better than my leg wo on Sun. Thank heaven's!!! I was starting to worry!!
Leg, Bi's and Tri's: BB squats ATG: 85lbs: 10x8x8 Walking lunges: 50lb BB: 10x10x8 Stiff leg dead lifts: Went up on these!!! 80x12; 90x10; 100x8
Bi's: BB curls: 50x12; 60x8x6 Hammer curls: 32.5x8x8x6
Tri's: Close grip presses: 60x12; 70x10x8 Push downs: 45x10x8x5
ABS
Cardio: Treadmill 10% incline at 4.5 mph for 20min

Feelin' pretty good and strong. I also having been working on my posing....getting a little better.

Beckie, Last week I measured myself, I think I posted it on page 9 of my journal, that I have gained 1/4 inch on my arms, I did not measure chest, thighs 1/4 inch and actually I have lost 1/4 inch on my waist. I am VERY excited. My hubby has me splitting my body in half so half of my body is worked twice a week and one half once, and then following week vice versa. I need more muscle to compete as a light weight and with me having an ectomorph body type it difficult for me to put on muscle...but I have really been tracking my protein and writing EVERYTHING down and it has made a huge difference. Yes, I am kicking butt in the gym....thanks for the kind words! By the way...when is your comp? I thought I read when you first posted it is in April? The one I am shooting for is in April as well ( here in the states). Thanks for your inquiry Beckie!! I appreciate it!!
