Saph, You post some incredible workouts and lift some impressive poundages. It does inspire me to aim higher. All you women hit it hard and heavy. Even Kerrie, after an auto accident, is making incredible gains. I look up to you women! Ya'll show me what is possible. You can be small and still be strong! I am inspired by no other than (Hello Tim #arollseyes3zc#) Robby Robinson ;D. You see, there is this video of Robby posing on the beach in Santa Monica and the posing music is just awesome. I know this is hilarious but I am dead serious as I mimic Robby's every move while pretending to be some kind of ripped bodybuilder. #amuscleman4dx# It is a hoot! #brolfsmiley0vx# Robby who?? #smileydunno9gx# ;D

The calf presses...a funny story...EVERYTIME I do those on the leg press I get one of the guys to help me b/c that is 6-45lb plates on each side and I just get tooo tired. The guys crack up laughing b/c it is more weight than they do. In fact I think Terry has said I do almost as much as he does!!!! ;D Today's WO-Began with splitting body in half...... Legs, arms and abs: So, I started to squat today and my knees hurt so bad I was in tears...I tried to work through the pain but I only cranked out 2 sets of squats and then one set of lunges so...I was PRETTY IRRITATED so I thought what the heck, I will try leg extensions or else, mentally I would have freaked out not getting a GOOD leg work out...and much to my amazement I did pretty well. Legs: Squats: 85lb BB(olympic bar): 8x6 Lunges: 50lb BB: 10 LEG EXTENSIONS: I am really impressed: 80lbsx12;90x12;100x10-knees hurt a bit so I will do these when knees are too painful for squats and or lunges. Stiff leg dead lifts: 80lb BB 12x; 90lb 10x10-went up from least wo!!! Bi's: Cable curls-30lbs each arm: 10x8x6 Cable curls with small ez bar: 40lbs: 10x8x6 Tri's: Skull crushers: No spot today so used lower wt and increased reps: 50lbs: 15x15x12 One arm push downs: 20lbs: 12x10x8 ABS ANOTHER GREAT WO!!!!!! WHOO.....HOO!!!!!!!

BE CAREFUL SQUATTING!! Can you do leg presses without pain? Bodyfx does not even do squats himself. Just be very careful, I worry about you. I mean you are competing for the both of us next year!! ;D GREAT WO BTW!! Legs are tommorow for me, starting with squats.

I mean you are competing for the both of us next year!! ;D GREAT WO BTW!! Legs are tommorow for me, starting with squats. I know I need to watch the knees. Funny thing,as the hubby can testify, I am ALWAYS the opposite of how things should work. For instance, by rights, I should not be able to squat or do lunges b/c of my knee surgeries, my doc never told me not to, but generally people do leg presses, hack squats etc....but those KILL my knees and regular squats and lunges generally do not bother me. It has alot to do with the weather. It got real cool here, in good ole' Ohio. It went from 90 degrees to 60 today and my knees take that hard. Tomorrow back in the 80's, yuk. So once the weather stabilizes again I will be good to go. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN, I APPRECIATE THAT!!!!

Karrie and Saph, I have never had problems with squats. However, bad form or execution on the leg press and leg extension have caused problems with my knees! Isn't that kinda funny particularly when you hear how squats are so bad for your knees!
Keep up with your great workouts! Dontcha feel like a million bucks when you have great workouts! I can feel your enthusiasm through the monitor!

OH YOU GIRLS!!!!!! I have posted this numerous times...but I enjoy you all sooo much b/c you guys "get it." So many of my girlfriends this weight training and even competing is "weird," so if I am an odd ball I have you girls who understand and are just as "weird" and I am!!!!! Thanks you all of your encouragement and positive words!!! No Wo tonight, only cardio!!!!! ;D

Kerrie, I realized how weird I was as I shot a biceps pose for a friend and she replied, "Ill stick with the cardio, Thank you very much!" I could not understand her lack of appreciation for my muscle but it dawned on me that others were just not enlightened. So from now on, I don't show my biceps to anyone! The women here appreciate and support your quest to get big and strong! And Tim accepts all us weirdos! ;D

Oh man I know exactly how you feel, I get the weirdest looks from my gfs. It annoys them I think, not sure why, but I can tell it does, so I never talk about my lifting with them, NEVER. It is nice to have a place where you are encouraged rather than berated for what we do!!

End of April: Arms: 12in now 12 1/4! Thighs: 20in now 20 1/4 Waist: 25 3/4 now 25 1/2, has gone down and I am not dieting!!
I know a 1/4 of an inch is not much but I am just over overjoyed!!! In fact my cousin, (my WO partner), I sent her a picture msg on her cell phone of me flexing my bicep and I recorded myself singing "I'm so excited" (the pointer Sisters). Yes, I am a nut!!!!! ;D
Tonight's WO.....Awesome!!!!! 2nd night of body split in half: Chest: Flat bench press w/BB: 85lbs: 10x8x6 Incline presses: 30lbs DB: 10x8x6 Incline flies DB: 25lbs: 8x8x6
Back: Pulley rows: 120x10; 130x8; 140x5 Close grip pull downs: 110x12; 120x10; 130x6 Rack dead lifts: 95x10; 115x8; 135x5-I have never done these before and I am pretty excited that I did this amount of weight!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shoulders: Military presses on machine-DB room too full with the guys-60x10; 70x6; 80x5 Side laterals: 20lb DB: 10x8x8 Front lateral raises: 20x8x6x6 Rear deltoids: 15x8x6x6
Cardio 20min 10% incline at 4.5mph.
I am just so excited about my measurements and workout!!!!
