Maybe we should have a diet confessional ladies?? then I could confess the piece of chocolate cake I ate last night Beckie, You KILL ME!!!! Ok, ok, last night I made what I call...graham cracker brownies, they have graham cracker crumbs, one WHOLE can of sweetened condensed milk, and choco chips, mix together and bake....let's just say I consumed a good amount...but ohhh were they good!!!!!

Well today... umm... yeah... today... Guess it wasn't too bad. Was in a good mood for most of the day and it ended well so I guess I can't complain Did the hip hop class with Serine yesterday - can't say I was too impressed but I had other issues on my mind so I couldn't really focus... although I'm not sure if I would have been able to follow that routine even if I was focused!! Oh My WOW! And the instructor (Bridget) made it look so darn easy... ~shakes her fist~ Darn her!! Did hours of stairstepper today at "fatburner" mode. Was going to go back to the gym this afternoon and lift but here it is 9 and I'm pooped. So I guess I'll have to hit it hard tomorrow sometime although it's going to be a BUSY day. I get to go down with the GM to the Chevy dealer and talk with them about a business package and personal training. Oh the joys of being the PT Director!! Guess it gets me out of the office. Here's to more lifting and less talking tomorrow!! HURRAY IT"S ALMOST FRIDAY!!!

Never taken a hip hop class, but a friend of mine has and she said the EXACT same thing...they MAKE it LOOK easy.....she said when they left the class they were all cursing the instructor!!!!!

Hah, I could just see me, my feet get tangled up in just a regular aerobic class - I would be flat on my face if I tried hip hop so I give anyone who tries a hats off

Normally I do well with dance moves and hip hop (I love to dance and can usually hold my own) but it was a BAD day... a-hem, yeah. Bad. Well today was kind of a f@$# it day and ended up doing a full body workout plus cardio. Did some chest earlier b/c I didn't realize I was going to be doing a full body in the afternoon... ~shrug~ Bench press 135x15 135x15 135x14 Decline DB Press 45x15 45x14 45x15 Leg Lifts 3 sets 25 Decline Ab's 3 sets 25 (these ALWAYS give me heartburn... bleh!) Then 20 min of the StepMill - not to be confused with the stairstepper - this darn machine is EVIL! Did intervals though High for 1min, low for 2 min; increasing the high intensity each time. Weights tonight. Lat Pull Down - rear facing 120x15 125x12 125x12 Inc. Flye 30x15 35x12 40x10 Hack Squat (wt per side) 90x15 135x15 180x15 Bi Curl 30x15 35x12 35x10 Single Tri Ext 25x15 30x10 30x10 Arnolds 25x15 (x3) OUCH! Crunch Trio 15's (3 sets) Yeah that was all she wrote But was a good workout none the less. I always feel like I should have done more when I am sitting here at the computer but doing it poops ya out!! Darn recovery rate!! Got my CD from the pro photographer and not many pic's of me... but here's an ok one. Don't necessarily look like that right now... but yeah haha.

We have the same problem Chrystal-getting rid of the lard I am way smaller than you but its still a big problem esp in the legs... I like to call it "a work in progress"

Today was kind of a catch up day - neither Serine or I felt we got much of a wo yesterday so we beat ourselves up today. Guess that's how it goes when you're used to doing 1 body part a day and do a full body workout!
Today was legs and shoulders
Cleans - tried to teach Serine how to do cleans for about 40 min's then did a few fulls myself 95#x4 (x2 sets)
Leg sled (total plate weight, not including sled) 270x20 450x20 630x15
Front/Lateral Raises 20x15 20x12 20x10
SLDL (total plate weight, not including bar) 60x11 (stupid grip) 70x12 70x12
Hanging Bi Curl 50x15 60x12 60x10
Lying Ham Curl w/DB 35x15 45x12 50x12
Legs are doing pretty good considering the sleds - but I rarely get sore so ~shrug~ I'm starting to get the itch to do cleans again though, which I haven't had for a LONG time.
Thanks for the compliment Karrie - we try to push ourselves pretty far, it's the only way to make it to where we want to be! I'm starting to realize that when I was preping for my first contest I wasn't pushing hard enough. Don't get me wrong, I was lifting hard and feeling it but it's those last few rep's that give you the top edge on your opponents - I want that top edge!!
Hell I'm just hoping that getting my muscles back to the grind stone I'll clean up my eating to match... man it's hard!!
Beckie I agree with you 100%! My flab is my drawback - It's been a long time friend over the years and I'm trying to convince it to let go!! It's holding on like a wet blanket though... Gotta make the mental step to get it off of me though! I WILL win this battle!

Chrystal~ LOL...thanks for the push...hahaha, love it! Its so great to see you back in action! Its like thats the Chrystal I know! And yes I add weight because I know you can do it! And I hope to sit on it some day, lol, that would be fun! I agree, pushing hard is the only way to do it. And I love it, and I know you do! Glutton for punnishment...lol. But I hear you on the edge thing..... but now you know what you want and were you want to be. I know you are going to come in so much stronger this time! And yes I am excited again already! Thanks for your patience with me today....I know I am a tool...hahaha! But I will keep working on those. Awesome lifts.....great energy...what more can I ask for?

Yesterday was a day off - went to see the Grandparents for the day. Was nice to get to visit with them and see how they're doing. I REALLY need to get up to see them more often. Dad and I decided that at least once a month we're going to go. Today's workout - short and to the point... man did it burn though! Hammer Str. Iso-lateral Wide Chest Press (wt per side) 45x15 drop sets 65x12 55x10 45x10 35x10 (2 sets of that) OUCH! Incline DB Fly ss w/press 30'sx12 ss w/ 30x10 (2 sets) Push ups toes 25 toes/knees 25/10 (x2) BURN BABY BURN!! Cardio: StepMill (the devil) for 20 min lvl 6 - 2min 10 - 1 12 - 1 14 - 1 6 - 2 10 - 1 12 - 1 15 - 1 6 - 2 10 - 2 6 - 2 10 - 2 6 - 2 Sweating up a storm and my legs were SOOOOOO tight!! Bleh! Off to a BBQ with the other side of the family - hope everyone is having a GREAT labor day weekend! Huray!! Gotta love days off ~C

And I did the Ab Machine/bench with my client too.
2 sets of my crunch trio mix to 15's. So that's umm... ~smoke comes out of ears from having to do math~ 150 crunchish things total for those.

LOL, she puts alot of the guys to shame at our gym! Good deal seeing the grand parents...gotta do it. As for the BBQ, you are too nice to your sister to let her wiggle out of it..lol. That was a fun wo! I agree, could do it again...or some decline cables...but theres next week. That and we were pressed for time it seemed. I hate that feeling, did I do enough? because they all say, less is more or whatever!!! bah!!! You and your nails...hahaha! Gonna have them file down your tallons eh? Good thing, means I am safe from harm! Great cardio session! Good to see you doing the intervals too....but boy do they take it out of ya! Phew! Have fun woman!!! Enjoy your family!
