Man I hear ya there!! It's hard to stay motivated but I agree - when you CHOOSE to start your day out with a good outlook it's easier to keep it throughout the day.
Awesome idea with the cravings there - looking to see just who IS eating what you're craving is a good way to stay away from it.
The book I'm reading is called "Burn the fat, feed the muscle". I haven't too far into it (it's 340 pages printed!) so I'm not sure as to the quality of the later content but the goals information is worthy of a read. Alot of it we already know, we just need to remind ourselves of it now and again!! It makes me laugh sometimes - I know alot of people who won't read basic books because they're "benieth" them, when in reality re-reading some of the basics is JUST what we need to keep going. We get so caught up in the harder, more specific stuff that we often need to be 'reset' to the basics.
~shrug~ anyways!!

And then today... well today wasn't the greatest day. I woke up this morning and had my breakfast like normal. Didn't sleep too well last night but nothing new there. Started craving sweets... bleh! bad news! So I told myself if I waited until 9:30 (which was my next meal) and I was still craving sweets that I could have something... So on my way to the gym I am craving sweets still... I stop off and get donuts ~cry~ I'm such a sucker!! But I went to the gym (eating my donuts on the way) and when I got there I did the hip hop class for 30 minutes (we got there late). 280 cal's. Then decided I needed to do more b/c the hip hop class wasn't that great. Easy to follow but I didn't work up a sweat or anything! BOO HISS!! Enter StepMill ~menacing music plays in the background~ 20 min's on that, intervals. 300 cal's on that. I need to push harder I think. Was going to go do some cleans after that but ended up checking my phone. 4 missed calls. 2 of the people missed was my mom and then the Ex. So I call mom back. She's sobbing and can't control her voice. She'd had to go put our dog down. ~heart breaks~ Apparently our younger dog Roxy had run out into the street and was struck by a truck. She was alive when mom took her to the vet but the injuries were so bad that they would have had to take a leg and even then they weren't sure if she'd make it b/c they didn't know the extent of the internal damage. So I raced down to the vet to pick mom up. Brought her home and kind of let her do her thing - she needed to stay busy so she mowed the lawn and did some gardening (which she loves to do). Enter my little sister who, until now, has been at a track meet all morning and knows nothing about this. I break the news to her and she's in tears. I let her cry and then go up to her room to just "be". Then about I went out about an hour later and asked if she wanted something to eat. "Pasta"... so off to the resturant near our house for pasta, sis wants pizza, so off to the pizza store I go to get pizza... I get a chicken salad but end up eating a piece of the pizza too... bleh! So today's been a GREAT day. Sorry to ramble but haven't really got anyone to ramble to. Sometimes it sucks being the "strong" one for the family, but in the end I'm glad I can be there for them without fail. Hope your guys' weekends have been going well so far. I'm wondering how Tim's done in his comp!! TTFN ~C

I would say lifting went more than well yesterday..how about.... AWESOME!!!! BTW I LOVE any woman who does dips!!!!! Tiff does them and I comment all the time...so get used to it!! LOL!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D Don't you just freakin' love it when your arms get that pumped up!!!! Ok, today, understand about being the "strong one in the family" my fam I am the strong one....stinks at times....Now, your eating was not that bad...it is ok to have one of those days...just get back on track tomorrow!!!! Sorry to hear about your mom's dog. Hope your tomorrow goes well!!!

I'm doing fine - just wierd not having her run and jump on me in the morning. Ate foods I probably shouldn't have but I wasn't THAT bad. Donuts in the AM Fig Newtons (yes I ate a whole g'damn box of them... bleh) had a chicken ceasar salad with light dressing (not too bad) then 3 piece of garlic pizza... And to top it all off.... Light Mint Choc Chip ice cream (made with spenda) Bleh - I feel disgusting this morning... Gonna try to get into the gym and do some cardio, maybe some lifting but dunno. Really going to try to crack down on the eating thing. Going to start to individually pack everything for meals from here on out. Perhaps I'm just giving myself too many options and need to have it all planned out better. Gotta do something cause my stomach's starting to stick out farther and farther... soon it'll be out as far as my chest Bad news bears! That and I'm running out of clothes that cover me up haha. I've done it before and I KNOW I can do it again. I am making the choice and writing my goals down and pushing for them. I will have my body back!! ~C

Well today was a good day for diet (at least so far) and so I'm happy about that. I pretty much stuck to what I had planned and ate well within that plan. I was tired as heck... but I stuck to my diet plan Yeah me! Nights not over yet but I still feel good for sticking to my diet like I have so far. Workout was chest today - felt good to lift hard like we did. Bench Press 135x15 155x15 175x9 Incline DB Press 35x15 40x15 45x12 DB Flye 25x15 30x15 30x15 Cable Cross Over 50x15 60x12 60x15 Decline Cable Flye 30x15 35x12 35x12 Push Ups 45#platex16, drop platex7, kneesx7 45x15, toesx5, kneesx5 45x15, toesx5, kneesx5 Killer way to end a wo - Bleh!! OMG!! I loved Wizzle's face when I plated you for push-ups!!! I love it when you do that, its so hard core! It was a good lifting day....glad you thought that! ;D Gotta love that peczilla action! Dont ever feel bad for talking things out. You can only hold in so much before it becomes toxic. You are strong.......but even strong people need to talk/ get support. Dont confuse help with weakness, its not the case. I know its hard for you too. Enough babble. I hope your Mom hasnt demolished the yard! From what I hear you have enough fire wood for a year! Thanks ladies... mainly I was just blessed with strong parents Today was back - woo hoo.. Lat Pull down 120x15 140x12 140x12 Single Lat Pull down w/ Flex straps 85x15 100x10 100x10 Seated Low Row w/Flex straps 120x15 140x12 140x12 Inc Bench DB Row's 45x15 55x12 55x12 Nautilus Pull Overs 85x15 100x15 110x12 Rev. Leg Lifts on the Ball 15 (3 sets) Cardio was 15 min's on the StepMill at intervals - lvl 15...omg thought I was going to die! Then 10 min's on the recumbant bike at lvl 10. Food's not too bad today - ate a little bit more when I got home than I needed to. Just got munchy But stuck with pretty healthy foods and decent portions. I think I'm getting back into the swing of things although I DO have a craving for sweets right now. Trying to fight it off haha. Back Mule Back!! Hope you all enjoyed your Tuesday! ~C

Those are AWESOME weights! I feel so weak next to you Don't feel weak!! I bet if we were to do a % comparison of weights lifted and body weight of the lifter we'd be about the same... you don't weigh 200lbs from what I know, I do!
