So I'm a little behind on posting... SORRY! Payroll at work is kind of a booger and it's turning into MORE of a nightmare now... ~sigh~ Guess that means I can ask for a raise?? haha RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT! Anyway - Serine and I ended up taking the day of Wednesday b/c our schedules didn't mesh, thinking that we'd be able to lift Thursday (do full legs). That and neither of us felt like lifting... sad huh! But I was busy all day doing payroll, working with clients and going to see supplement people about getting a decent line of supplements into the store. So along comes Thursday - slew of clients in the AM, huge break and slew of clients in the PM. Serine has the AM and the PM off but has to work during my break - BLEH! But we found an hour where we were both off and lifted bi/tri (or tried to) until Ihad to go for my client. So... here's our short workout - perhaps we'll throw some more tri's in today with legs Straight Bar Curl 50x15 60x12 70x10 Hammer Curl - DB 25x15 30x10 30x10 OUCH - help on 9/10 Low Cable Curls 17.5kg x15 20kgx15 20kgx12 - ouch again... stuffed sausage! Tri Press down - straight bar 47.5kgx15 52.5x15 57.5x15 French Press 20x15 25x12 Here's when my client came in so I had to go.... Did some abs at home - Lower/upper crunchs to fatigue x1 Leg Raises x25 Crunched side touches x35 (each side) Will do some more today IHOPE. Cardio - 30 min's on the Stair Stepper "city steps". Something like 209 cal's or whatever... Need to push the cardio more Ok - I gotta run - sitting here with sopping wet hair and my cat is trying to give me loves... Poor deprived kitty!!! Toodles! ~C

Hey, at least we got pumped fast...lol. You can only beat them up (arms) so much.....or so they say. I wonder if it applies all the time? Like what will it take to bump it up a notch? As for not wanting to lift yesterday.....well, we did....so it counts..ha! I dont know why I freak at the thought taking a few days off....I know it might do me good....but its like I think it will hinder me at the same time....or I will balloon out of control. Stupid body......bah. I am still pondering this gum/ fake sugar crap....thanks..lol. But.....it couldnt hurt to try to take it out. I know all that splenda cant be good for the body. And just like NO-Explode....you dont know the effects of it later on.... then you come back to the question "how far do you want to take it?" And I think "how bad do I want it?" And the answer is pretty damn bad..... and I do have a point here. lol...... will do some looking up on this topic....but the problems I come across are people who are too radical....or people who are too indifferent on the topic. Ok I am done......see you later...I will be that looser at the front desk....yeah umm..till 5....right!

Chrystalr, You are VERY strong on your arms as well...DANG!!!! It must be sooo nice to have a wo partner!!!! I used to have one and there are days I miss it!!! Someone to help get you motivated!!!! What I ended up doing was... Dbl DB Tri Extension 50x15 55x15 55x15 Tri Press Down 85x15 85x15 ss w/ Rev. Grip Tri Pull down 50x15 50x15 21's - bi's 40x21 40x21 50x21 AB's Plank Ball Roll 15 (x3 sets) Jacknife's 3 sets 20 Yeah well - I gotta go watch the front until 10 or 11... so i'm gonna get going! Awesome work out - you're like the energizer bunny - you just keep going and going ;D I have a question about the leg curls with the DB - do you do them lying on a flat bench? I hate the lying leg curl machine at my gym, and the leg extension one. They are Hammer Strength and everything is pre set - no way to adjusts where the pads rest on my legs and they are way too far apart. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated - thanks

Hey Tiffany, Yeah, the leg curls we did are lying on a bench with the weight held between our feet. It's kind of a booger on the shins but if you go slow and remember not to pull it all the way to your buns (can only go perpendicular to the floor) then you get a KILLER run with the hams. Another one we do for the ham's is ball digs. They're killer if you go slow and REALLY dig in with your heels. You can also try doing leg curls with a resistance tube - need to find some place to lock the tube into but can really get a good curl with them. Have a bunch more than I do but I have to think about them (it's 11:45pm and I've only had 4 hours of sleep in the past 2 days haha - hard to think!). Hope you had a great Sat. Mine was fun and eventful. Went to the Ironman BB, Figure and Fitness contest. Was a good show with some decent competitors - the judging had a bit to be desired but I guess you can't really help that. Spent more money than I had to spend (and didn't even really get anything!) but am glad that I went Serine's a kick in the ass to hang around with and we were laughing 3/4 of the time. Was a good day! Off to la la land ~C

Thanks Crystal, I will try the DB curl on Friday but I did do a light leg wo this morning (at home cause I was to tired to get dressed and go to the gym ;D) and I have the resistance bands and ball here. Played around with the two of them for a bit. Do you know of a good site I can check out to find more exercises to do with them? - you always mention ones in your wo that I have no idea what they are but would love to try

As for lifts - just ask me any of the lifts you dont know and I'll try to help you out. abcbodybuilding.com has a great animated/slide show set of lifts that you can do with full descriptions and all the good stuff!!

I did at one point in time but never really knew how to get into it - now I'm just a chicken and wonder if I can compete against some of the women in my weight/height class. Thanks for the "strong" compliment I'm very... proud... hehe of the weights I push

You should be proud of you lifts!! I mean hot damn! And I think you and power lifting would be awsome too!!! You seem to like it. Hey all - things are kind of just odd around here lately so I don't necessarily feel like posting alot (hense me not being here). I guess I go through phases where I do and don't want to post. Maybe once my job settles down and I don't feel like such a chicken with it's head cut off?? Hell I don't know.
Had to post today's workout though - had a GREAT PR in bench and it felt awesome.
