I love the single leg presses too Karrie-my legs seem to respond better to them for some reason! I've been doing them on the Hammer press because i can change the depth of the seat which gives a bit of variation... 40lb curls??!! Now thats STRONG

I'll tell you what my thighs get pumped doing single leg-leg presses. You can see the muscles popping through my wo pants! I am really liking the split squats too!!! Like I said, I am interested to see what I am going to look like here in about 6-8 weeks. I am dieting pretty good.....higher carbs, for my body type, higher protein, mainly counting calories with one cheat meal a week and I have increased my cardio!

I am not posting any new pics until I get to the end of my diet in about 6-8 weeks BUT I will have hubby take a pic of me doing deads the next time I do them. ;D ;D ;D
Yesterday was an AWESOME, I MEAN AWESOME WO!!!! I did back, chest and shoulders!!! Terry had me do a tri-set for shoulders and can I say they were really pumped!!!! I had to lower my weight but boy am I sore today! I did bb presses 12 reps behind the neck, 12 in front and then 12 upright rows!!!! OUCH!!! I did three sets but for the second and third set he had me switch up the order!!! I then did side lats, front lat raises and rear delts too!!! Tonight legs and arms!!!!

Sounds great, Karrie......looking forward to the pics! Keith I am actually looking forward to new pic's too. The last ones I posted were in July of last year and I know from the power lifting I have put on some muscle, which excites me, since I am a true ectomorph it is hard to put on the muscle and keep it on. But my training, aside form being ill not too long ago, has been VERY consistent. Tonight,I had a STRONG leg wo. I did supersets with leg ext/walking bb lunges. One leg-leg press then I immediately did two leg-leg press for as many as I could get-I did that for three sets---my legs were PUMPED. I then did split squats. I am doing these with a BB now instead of db's as my balance is much better. Then super sets with seated leg curls and lying leg curls. Bi's and tri's went well too! I started today getting up at 5:30am to get in a 20 mn cardio session. I am doing a total of 40 min cardio(20am-20pm) three days and then one 30 min session, to see where that puts me. I know my body very well at this point and with the stricter diet and increase in cardio I will see those cuts here soon!!!! #smileygrouplaugh5js#

They are great! We just had Dads 80th a few weeks ago and wouldn't you know it he was up on the scaffolding the next day He's hard to stop and its no use arguing... Mums shoulder is still not that good-no pain but she still can't play tennis properly yet

That is WONDERFUL that your dad judt turned 80!!! Sorry to hear about Mom, Beckie, hopefully in time, she will get to the tennis! Tonight beck, chest, shoulders abs, cardio. I did my 20 minof cardio this morning and then I am doing 20 min tonight. Tomorrow I am doing 30min in the morning b/c I am going out to dinner with a few friends, this will be my cheat meal, and then back on Sat morning!

Where are you going to dinner? In the past 6 weeks I've eaten Thai,Cambodian,Chinese and Indian and I LOVE them all-esp my Thai Chicken Curry!

Well, since it is the only meal I am cheating on the entire week, I am going for good AND cheap Mexican. I will probably get chicken fajitas------I sound just like a BB don't I? My two friends are BEGGING me to have Margarita's with them, but I will stick to just iced tea! Tonight a GREAT WO!!! Tri-sets again for shoulders(front press/behind neck press/upright rows x3 sets of 12 each), side lats with a 3 second hold pause at the top, front lat raises, rear delts. Low pulley rows, WG and CG pull downs. BB bench press incline and flat and then incline pec deck. Calves and abs, my 20 min of cardio. I am getting up at 5:15am tomorrow to get in 30 min cardio. I took the kids to Target, there is a new one by us, and they JUST love that store, gave them baths, now I am going to make my BB food for tomorrow and off to sleep land for me. I am EXHAUSTED!!!!

Sounds like you have been having some AWESOME work outs Have a great time tonight, hopefully your friends wont pressure you too much about the margaritas. I was over at friends playing cards the other weekend and one of them just wouldn't stop, kinds takes the fun out of the evening.

I had a GREAT time last night and NO, I did not fall into the "peer" pressure to drink alcohol!!! i was fine with my iced tea! I ate pretty healthy for Mexican and just had a nice girlfriend time out!!!! Tomorrow back to the old BB grind. 20 min cardio in the am and 20 in afternoon with the wo! Tomorrow legs and arms!!!!

Today I did legs and arms. It was a REALLY great wo!!!! I did hack squats for the first time in a LONG TIME!!!! I never thought I could do these again b/c of my knees BUT I did and they felt REALLY GOOD!!! I did leg ext, hack squats, one leg-leg press and then immediately 2 leg-leg press for 3 sets, and then split squats. Arms-Terry had me do something called 21's. 7 1/2 range at bottom, 7 1/2 range at the top and then 7 full range. I did 3 sets like this and by the time I got to concentration curls my bi's were NUMB!!! tri's CG press and 2 arm overhead ext. Then my second cardio session of 20min went very well!!!

I LOVE 21's-nothing like that burning sensation!! PS I've just started doing hacks again too for the same reason as you and so far so good
