I did train over the weekend, I did chest at home. Had a pretty good workout and then did cardio. This week hopefully workouts are on track Monday night I did legs and shoulders and I have a GREAT session! I am still really sore today...sore like having a hard time sitting down but I LOVE wo's like that! Mon 7/7/08 Legs: Leg press: 340-8x8x6 Walking lunges: 60lb BB-8x8x8 Leg ext: 80x8x6x6-legs were wiped! Leg curl: 70x8x6x6
Shoulders: Arnold presses: 20lb db-10; 25x10; 27.5x9 Up right rows: 60lb bb-8x6x5 Front lat raises: 20lb db-8x8x8 Rear delts on peck deck-8x8x6
ABS
Last night 35 min cardio.
Tonight: back and biceps.

Had a GREAT back and bicep work out! #bconfetti2sq# Actually got out of work ON TIME…what a concept. ;D DB rows: 35x10; 40x8x8 WG pull downs: 60x10; 70x8x6 CG pull downs: 70x8x8x6
Bi’s: BB curls: 60x6x6x5-this is the first time doing all three sets with 60lbs. Pretty happy. Hammer curls: 25lb db’s: 8x8x8 One arm cable curls: 25x8x6x6
Abs and 20min of cardio.

WOW! I just looked at the date on my last journal entry and I did not realize it had been sooo long! Work has been INSANE and now we are just now slowing down! We had a co-worker leave so in addition to an increase in patient load I have been working almost full time in a 4 day work week...going in at 7:15 and not leaving until 5:30-5:45.....so I have been training just more at home than at the gym, which for me, is ok, but not the same. I am hitting the gym tonight and I am hoping to be posting regularly beginning next week, as our schedule the next few weeks has us finally caught up. So tonight, back, chest, abs and cardio.

Yes, I am TRYING to get to 4-45lb plates on each side for leg presses, but I have to watch my knees. Tonight- Back and biceps.

Training tonight and tomorrow night. Tonight shoulders and arms...tomorrow back and chest. Workouts already off due to Thanksgiving BUT at least I am in the gym. ;D

Thanks for the video! ;D I have never heard this song before but it was right up my alley! Last night I started at a new gym...long story but it was time for a change...a MUCH needed change. The gym is quite a bit different from Tough Bodies...this gym is a little more on the "yuppie-cardio" type gym is my wording for it...but they have really nice equipment and their free weights are really nice...especially the dumb bells. Back and bi's: DB rows: 35x10; 40x10; 45x8 Pull downs: 85x10x8x8 CG pull downs: 85x8x8x6
Bi's: Hammer curls: 35x10x8; 40x8 two arm cable curls: 40x10; 50x8x8 seated db curls: 20x10x10x8 concentration curls: 20x8x8x6
abs. The only issue with this gym is that most of the people do cardio soooo when I went to do cardio there was not ONE piece of cardio equipment free and they have ALOT of it...where at Tough Bodies they only have 6 pieces of cardio equipment and they are free 80-90% of the time. So cardio may be more at home instead of the gym.

Second wo at the new gym and I really like this new place. Cardio issues again but no big deal for the moment. When I start my “lean out” diet for the spring/summer it will be a little different but no big deal now Chest and Tri’s Chest: Flat hammer press: 90x10; 100x8x8 Seated up press machine: 85x8x8x Incline flies: 20x10; 25x8x6
Tri’s: CG bench EZ bb: 50x10x8x8 Push Downs: 50x8x8x6 Dips: 8x6x5
