1400, was he a favorite to win the event? I never heard is name before! And is he an heavyweight?

Think he did win as a heavywt. He is from Colorado, and Jeff Taylor (NPC CO chair) has always been high on him.
He could possibly pull a Jimmy Canyon this year (win Jrs, USA and Nationals in the same year, like Jimmy did in 2003).
He has a great look and wish him well.

The middleweight was more shredded, and the superheavy was bigger, but no one had a combo of leanness, symmetry, and size like Phil... not even close |

Phil recently guest-posed at a contest here in Denver and looked awesome. I have to wish him the best, if for nothing else to get a Denver boy some recognition!
