Just for the fun of it: What is one of the more dedicated thing you ever done for your sport (bodybuilding, powerlifting, etc) ?
Why am i asking that? Because today at work, someone that think i'm crazy eating every 2 hours for bodybuilding asked me if i am dedicated to the point of "interrupting some intimate moments with my girlfriend" if the time to eat chicken and rice as come, haha! I answered him that i only do that if it last more than 2 hours ;D
And one of my more dedicated moment? 3 weeks before my last contest, i went to the premiere of Star wars III. I waited in line 5 hours and the movie was 2 1/2 hours long so i brought something like 5 chickens breast and 5 cups of oatmeal! I can assure you that i was the only guy… dressed in Jedi… with a cooler full of food in the jam pack entrance of the cinema ;D I looked ridiculous (and it was not only the fault of my outfit)
PS: I give a mention to the many times that i quitted meeting (inventing that i needed to go to the toilet) to eat a cold chicken breast in the toilet! ;D

Waking up at 4:00 every day to do my first training session . NEVER missing workouts, squatting with @ 500 lbs, ass to the floor, on some of those mornings. Staying at under 30 gms. of carbs per day the last 6 weeks before a contest----these are just a few examples.

…. And Masterschamp, reading those few examples of dedication is something that keep me extremely motivated and focus to bodybuilding! I'm wondering what's worst? Waking up EVERY day at 4:00 or eating 30grs of carbs for 6 WEEKS? ;D
Wow that's the kind of crazy thing that i like Rubicon! Was it for a carbs load? What were you eating?
Thanks for sharing guys! Those examples are what make our sprot so hardcore! I love it!

Sounds really fun Rubicon…and i know it is… especially after months on a low carbs diet! Seriously even if eating carbs can be fun… waking up every two hours for eating is absolutely not in my opinion! I did that for one of my shows this years and after every lunch, it takes me 1 hour to sleep again… so not again for me! But again: Good dedication example! Mo

How about the fact that I work 15 hours per day 5 days per week and every other Saturday. Still find time to prepare 7 meals per day, 7 days per week and NEVER miss a scheduled training session.

Ok I have neighbors that think I'm nuts. In 90 degree weather I had my sauna suit on while cutting the grass. Looking rediculous and sweating beyond beleif I finish the job with a push mower.

I know EXACTLY what you mean!! I mow my entire acre and a half with a push mower, fully covered --sweat shirt and long pants, in the Florida sun every 4 freakin days in the summer--that's how fast the grass grows and yes the entire acre and a half is sodded so there are no shortcuts!! Takes me 3-4 hours. No sauna suit though---maybe you are nuts!!!

Dedicated lifestyle Brock!
"wearing incredibly tight tees to force myself to not get lazy." Haha i like that! I always said why are we trying to get bigger when we can wear smaller tees!
"oh and use 2 bottles of nair for men a month to stay SMOOOOOOTH" ;D I agree, it looks like nothing, but the more dedicated parts of my pre-contest lifestyle are Shaving and tanning!
Oooh and Carl, MC, i agree with Rubicon… how did he say it? Ok i got it: NUTS Mo
