Saw on the web where 1995 IFBB Master`s Olympia winner Sonny Schmidt has cancer.Here`s hoping for a speedy recovery for this great bodybuilding champ.  |

"During my last trip to Australia (back in December of 2003) I had a chance to see Sonny.
For those of you that don’t know – I was his roommate for many years in early 90’s.
Needless to say – he is like a brother to me!
Phenomenal bodybuilder, but what’s more important – a wonderful human being.
I saw him one day after he was told that he had serious tumor – that is spreading to his lungs.
He was very much concerned – but in good spirits, as he is Born Again Christian with strong faith in Jesus Christ.
I hope that all of you that read this post could say a prayer for Sonny…
Take a moment RIGHT NOW… and just pray for his health!
