9/11/01
I still remember it like it was yesterday. My first week of college and I was right there, in the midst of all the chaos that went on. I had no idea what was going on and it was complete and utter devistation.
To all the heros and people who gave their lives, may you rest in peace. You will never be forgotten.

Thanks, Steve. I had just arrived at work when we heard what happened. We were all in total shock. All transit here in NYC was shut down.
Later in the day, we had to walk across the 59th Street bridge to get transportation home from Queens. We were all told to stay home the next day.
5 years seem like yesterday, and an eternity for the loved ones of the victims. An unforgetable tragedy.

Yes, it very much feels like yesterday. I was on 34th when the buildings collapsed then had to stay in the city till 9pm because an express bus picked us up and brought us to staten island. the entire bus was silent. it was very erie.

I know,I still remember walking past a TV store and seeing the planes fly into the towers-it seemed more like a movie than reality..
