Here`s a guy who turns down a 3.6 million dollar NFL contract to go off to war and dies. Not many guy`s would even consider it for a millisecond. My respect, and condolences, go out to his friends and family.RIP Pat,you are a true hero as is everyone who defends their country in a time of war. Below is the article where he turns down the contract! espn.go.com/nfl/news/2002/0708/1403113.html

What a noble and patriotic human being he was. Been reading the newspapers, and he seemed truly awe inspiring and extraordinary.
Sincere sympathy to the family and friends he leaves behind.

There are very good articles about him in this week's issues of Time and Newsweek.
This was a selfless and heroic human being. The example he set will be his legacy.
