Glad to see Branch is FINALLY getting what has been due him for several years now. THis guys is a true freak of our sport, someone whose accomplishements I've always admired. I also understand he's a low-key nice and down to earth guy- something to be said for that being at the level he is at.
Why doesn't this guy have a website?? ;D

Mike, I've been asking that since Branch turned pro. He and I have a mutual friend in Lance Johnson, so I'll ask Lance to work on him.
Branch is very unassuming and gracious. Met him very briefly at last year's NOC. He took his time after turning pro to compete and is careful about picking his spots. Respect him a lot for doing that.

Gerry- you know Lance??? How is it that you know all my heros in this nutty sport?? ;D
Lance has got to be one of the best Masters competitors around today. Although I've never had the pleasure of meeting Lance, he's definately someone I hope to meet someday and I find him very inspiring with my being a "thirty-something" and beginning my pursuit of a competitive career!

Lance and I connected by accident, Mike. He was a BB of the Week at bodybuilding.com. Sent him an e mail telling him he was BB of the Year for them and we just hit it off.
Have met Lance at the last two Masters National shows, and he was in tremendous shape. This year even more so. Hard to believe he is not a pro. Reminds me of a mini Branch. I know Lance was at the show cheering for Branch, and they train together when they can. Lance and his wife Camie are among the best people I've met, and feel lucky to know them.

HOw can anyone not like GerryT. Gerry is the most honest helpful guy out there. The best thing about Gerry is that once you meet him you feel like your talking to an old friend.
Congrats to Branch by the way.

Appreciate that, Steve. And likewise with you. From the beginning, felt like we knew each other all our lives.
Anyway, would be great to see Branch make top 10 in the O. He sure has the freakiness.

Agree, Mo. If you compare the Branch who won the 01 Nationals to today, you can really appreciate how far he has come in 4 years. Really amazing!

good for quincy, he's been working hard for this over the last year. Will be nice to be in the booth with him this year at the O & watch him onstage.
