REBOUND

We watched and older movie last night. From 1996. No not Gerry and Tim old, but old enough. "REBOUND" It was about "The Goat". He was the best basketball player to ever live, but never made it to the NBA due to very poor choices and lots of tramatic experiences throughout his life. Very interesting. Very sad that someone with that much talent can throw it all away. I guess for some people, you have to hit rock bottom before you find out what you are really here for. Maybe the Goat was not put here on earth to be a superstar NBA player in the limelite, but instead was put here to help others not to make the same mistakes that he did. That to me is a good enough reason. If you get the chance, check this one out. R

Here is an oldie from 1962, The Miracle Worker. Based on a true story, really inspirational. Helen Keller, who was blind and deaf is taught how to communicate by a dedicated and stubborn teacher. Great acting and filming. Highly recommended and can be rented on DVD
