Sure Mr. Vince!
Sample day pre-contest diet:
Meal 1 - 1/2 c oatmeal, 1 c egg whites, 2 T calorie free pancake syrup (Walden Farms - they are saviours!!)
Meal 2 - Protein shake made with 2 scoops of a casein/whey blend and water
Meal 3 - 4oz cooked chicken, asparagus
Meal 4 - 2 scoops whey, 6-8 oz yam
Meal 5 - 4oz cooked chicken OR 6-7 oz tilapia, broccoli
Meal 6 - same as meal 2

Have to Post Your Post Contest Diet!!!I used to make peanut butter squares with chocolate ,and usually stayed up all night eating!!!But at that time you deserve it!!! Post contest diet... THE DAY AFTER:
Meal 1 - protein bars from the goody bag you get at the competitor's meeting
Meal 2- Hotel's breakfast buffet, and everything in it...
Meal 3 - Pizza/ice cream
Meal 4 - chocolate cake and sushi
Meal 5 - Pizza/cookies
Meal 6 - repeat 1-5...........LOL
I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Oooh and as far as your post contest diet goes, i know how it works… we make a lot of promises but after 2 or 3 days eating like this, we feel like **** and we return to our clean diet ;D that's how we are! (conscience hen?)

Thanks Mo and everyone out there in cyberland!
I leave tomorrow for the big day.... I am very excited and feel ready to go. I hope to meet those that are going to the O... I will be at the Europa booth on Saturday, so PLEASE stop by if you're there.
I'll be postin' in a couple weeks when I get back from my NAPA VALLEY vacation... going there after the competition.... WINE WINE and MORE WINE!!! YIPEEEE!!

JENNIFER WAS ROBBED, GRAND LARCENY STYLE!!!!  9th was a totally ridiculous placing from what little of the photos I've seen. I figured her a lock for top 5 and she is the future of figure for my money. Love you (like a sister, YB, so your marriage is still safe)and proud of you, Jennifer. Disappointed for you, but never in you. Relax and enjoy some off season time. Indulge in some wine and some peanut butter ice cream (just not together!). ;D |

She's totally pleased just to have been up there on that stage. Now, she's enjoying plenty of really good tasting food (and wine being in Wine Country) for a change. She looked spectacular, and I'm proud of my beautiful wife! Gerry- that was a beautiful poem, what truckstop wall did you get that from? I remember seeing that somewhere ;D And no worries, I know even though you love her, you'd forget by tomorrow anyhow!  Congrats Jennifer, always be number one for me! |

Can't write poetry. I always forget the previous line I worte and can't rhyme! ;D

Thanks for the congrats everyone! I am back from my little vaca in Napa, and am a bloated mess  I have done nothing except eat and drink everything in sight for the last week! It was much needed though, and I am ready to get back on track and settle into my off-season. All in all, it was an amazing experience to compete on the Olympia stage. I am looking forward to doing it again next year (YES, I plan on qualifying again... ) I know what I need to work on, and am beyond excited to begin the work. Although I wanted to place a little higher, I am still thrilled with making the top 10 at my first O. NEXT year, though, it needs to be top 5  YB - I miss my hubby... thought you would be oilin' me up backstage! In case you missed it, here's a pic from the night show:  The judges hated my one pc... I liked it... oh well! |

I was there Jennifer!!!! At least in spirit, I was. I was oiling m....um, you up that night in my mind. ;D I was expecting a call while you were in Napa. Talk about a perfect opportunity wasted!!! All that wine, my hot wife, and I was sick and unable to fly!!!! You look great Jenn, even as you call it, "a bloated mess," your still my #1 wife!!!  |
