Checking in from District Court. On lunch break now. Not sure how long this case will take, but will check in when I can.
Best thing is that I get home earlier than I do from work. And the building is good; I can get around with a walker with no problem The court officers seem to respect the elderly!! ;D
Take care and hope to be back soon.

LOL, YB!! Actually, the court officers only carry a gun and handcuffs. Monday is a NY state holiday and the court is closed. So I have to return Tuesday and possibly Wednesday for attorney closing arguments and the deliberations. So I can catch up on work on Monday. Then, we are exempted for the next 5-6 years!

So if i get it right... on jury duty means free lunch for you on tuesday and wednesday!! (if they really respect the elderly as you said ) #smileycool2ks# #aeatachicken9xi#

All done, and everyone is on death row! ;D Just a civil suit, and glad it is over. The judge thanked us for our time and attention, and dismissed. Six year exemption now!!
