Taking place Saturday, 6/3. It is a qualifier for bodybuilding, fitness and figure. there will be novice, teen and masters divisions as well. Held at Tribeca Theater, NYC. Prejudge 10:30AM and evening show 7PM. More info at www.bevfrancis.comI plan to be there at least for prejudge and will let you know what happens. Jay Cutler is guest posing, which alone should be worth the admission. |

A girl I trained is competing in that show. She will be figure tall.

Awsome! have a great time Gerry. I will be at the prejudging of a local show next week. I was goign to compete in it but I decided for one June 25th instead. Sadly, I don't think Yonnie has anyone guest posing.

Prejudge ended a while ago. Waiting for evening show. Except for starting about 20 minutes late, it ran well and there were some very good competitors.
Jay Cutler was present with his "store" (DVDs, shirts, photos, CEO book, etc.) and was very gracious in posing for photos with fans. Just a great person and he looks amazing at 290!! This could be his best O yet.
Spotted Dave Palumbo and Rodney St. Cloud. Ronnie Coleman is coming tonight.
But a major highlight was chatting with Jennifer Searles at the Pinnacle booth. So sweet and as lovely as ever. She will be competing in the NY Pro Figure next month (held with Team U) and wants to qualify for the Figure Olympia again.
Jen has been super busy and apologizes for not posting, but will try to be back. She says hi to Tim and everyone here. When I aksed her if she missed Youngblood, she said "WHO??"

Wish you were there, Jack. Fakhri Mubarak and Jason Arntz were at the night show. Both cool guys.
Night show was way too long, had to leave before it ended to catch a train home. Over 120 competitors, including figure, and everyone posed. What's wrong with that picture? Open guys had to wait forever to get out.
But Jay and Ronnie's individual guest routines and their off season posedown were worth the admission! Jay looks better right now, but Ronnie will be super dialed for the O as usual.
