Well my daughter finished 4th grade yesterday and brought her report card home. For the first time she finally got her dream. She got straight A's on her report card. I dont know who was happier me, her or her mother. Ever since 1st grade this little girl has wanted to get straight A's. She would always come up just short haveing all A's and one B. # times her B was so close i couldnt believe the teacher wouldnt round it up. I mean twice she had a 92.7 and once a 92.9(93 is an A) and the teachers wouldnt round it up. I was furious with them. However, this little girl didnt give up, busted her but and nailed it this time. Costing me some cash but its well worth it for the hard effort and the determination she put forth to achive her goal.

Hoop, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is AWESOME for your daughter!!!! By not giving up she has, actually, taught HERSELF a valuable lesson of perseverance!!!! She has learned that now if she keeps at something she CAN SUCCEED!!!! I have a 4 yr old daughter and a 2 1/2 yr old son and even at their ages, there is nothing more precious than seeing your kids put their mind to something...whether it is your daughter's straight A's or even my daughter just learned to dress herself and my son.....well he's a boy and just into EVERYTHING...I guess he is putting his mind to something... She will have an AWESOME summer break!!!!!!

tHANKS TO everyone for the great replies! She dads little girl and i have to admit she put down a huge effort to get what she wanted..I take a lot of inspiration, from watching her not give up, to attaining my next step/goal...In a sense i helped her in her drive and in turn watching that drive she put out has pushed me to go after something i have always wanted to do and not give up on it...
