Team U/Figure Nats/NY Pro Figure

This is contest weekend in NYC. Steve Weinberger and Bev Francis host the Team Universe BB and Fitness championships, along with the Figure Nationals and the NY Pro Figure show.

Friday 7/14 at 6:30PM will be the prejudge for the men and pro figure competitors. Saturday 7/15 at 9AM is the prejudge for the women BB and Figure Nationals. The night show will start at 7PM and probably won't end till 7AM Sunday morning!!!! ;D

Keep your fingers crossed for our Jennifer Searles!! She was 2nd in the Pro Figure last year, and should do well again and qualify for the Figure Olympia. Heard from her and she feels great and says hi to Tim and YB!!

In Team U, the overall BB winners (men and women) and fitness winner earn pro status and each class winner is eligible to represent the US in the IFBB World Championships.

In Figure Nats, top 2 in each height class earn pro status.

I'll definitely be at Friday prejudge and hope to make night show.

Last night's prejudge ran 3.5 hrs! And that was just the men (52 competitors), 37 fitness routines and the Pro Figure 1 and 2 piece rounds (23 competitors).

Didn't get to this morning's with 137 competitors in Figure Nationals and can't make finals so I will also be anxious for results. Night show should run 10-12 hrs!!

Looks like the Pro Figure is between Jessica Paxson and Jennifer Searles. Both stunning and hoping to be in top 3 to qualify for the Figure Olympia.
