I'm happy for Paco but really have to feel sorry for Markus! That dude has been in this game so long and just keeps pluggin' away year after year- I would have like to see him win.
Dennis Wolf looked great.

Paco? I didn't expect him to win over Ruhl. I suppose Ruhl's shoulders are holding him back- a strongpoint of Paco's (oil or no longer oil or not!). Paco has always had conditioning, and I think Ruhl is really hit or miss on that aspect of his prep. Ruhl has weak legs in comparison, again another Paco strongpoint. Posing they're probably the same level. Whoever the guy is with the mohawk (I'm guessing Ed Van Amsterdam?), he's huge. But looks to me that he's feeling the effect of his "pre-contest stack."

RUHL IS OBVIOUSLY CONCERNED WITH PEAKING FOR THE O, WHERE AS PACO BRUNG HIS "A" GAME AS FAR AS CONDITIONING HERE.
NOT MUCH OF A PACO FAN, BUT I CAN APPRECIATE HIS WORK ETHIC.

As stated above paco got some killer wheels but his condition was never on par when I saw him compete in USA events. I do agree Ruhl prob cared more for the O and use this to get near O condidtion.. I can't wait for the O this weekend!!! RAWWK!!!

I agree that Ruhl was just trying to qualify for the O, and not peak. So he accomplished that.
Paco looked very good and it was close. Home court advantage had to help a little. In Germany, Markus might have won.
Dennis Wolf looks terrific, and glad to see him qualify for the O also. This will be a big weekend for sure! Mad scramble for 3rd behind Ronnie and Jay!

But was there two German judges on the panel, while only one from Spain? Yeah but the Germans were smart enough to know they had to make it out of the country to go home!! I agree with the decision and personally would have put Wolfe in second....great physique with no oil/synthol. I like Markus though,he`s a beast!
