I looked over at GetBig this morning and saw the FlexOnline pics...from those it was damn close, I was actually thinking that Jay had a clear cut shot to beat Ronnie. Now, viewing these pics-taken closer with better lighting, I think Ronnie still has it. It's damn close between the two, but from these photos Ronnie still has the better detail and definition in his back- the Flex photos show that Jay eclipsed Ronnie's back detail and size. Only time will tell!

I watched the webcast live last night. When Ronnie walked out onstage I felt like the contest for first was over; even though he's not at his best I don't think anybody is good enough to knock him out.
It looked to me like Jay is struggling to hold second. His waist is getting too wide and his shape is off. I would love to see him win (I don't actually have a favorite) but don't think it will be this year.
Victor was very impressive. From the final callout it may be Jay and Victor battling for 2nd and 3rd. In the back shots I thought Victor had Jay, but Victor just wasn't as impressive from the front.
Then there's Dexter. He's been sharper for sure. Softer in the glutes and hams from when I saw him win his first Arnold (which is how I felt he beat Cormier). He actually looked a bit pale next to everyone else.
Melvin Anthony definitely came in strong; very improved. I think he'll be in the top 5.
Other comments:
During the prejudging they had each competitor come out individually and do the mandatories. Dave Henry turned, showed his Christmas tree, and the crowd went bonkers. Awesome conditioning. I think what he lacks is a good quad sweep ala Branch. I think that would bump him up a few places. Nice to see Ruhl onstage. Gunter looked too smooth. I wouldn't even have him in the top 10.
Looking forward to how it all comes down tonight!

From what I see, this looks like Ronnie's to lose. Much as I admire Jay, neither he nor the others can KO Ronnie.
Jay should hold 2nd. For sure, Melvin Anthony is the most improved and will battle Victor (also better than last year), Dexter and Gustavo for top 6.
Top notch show!
