He did it. Lana Dora texted me earlier, and she said Jay would do it. By the pics I wasn't so sure, as I said in another thread. I wake up the next day, and history was repeated, only 23 years later. He pulled it off, and I suppose 5th was a charm!  |

Jay looked awesome in the finals. His waist really tightened up and like Beckie said, the more he posed and worked the better he got.
Ronnie, on the other hand, got worse. Quads lost their cuts, no glute striations like we've seen in the past, and he had a horrible time keeping his gut in check. By Ronnie's body language it seemed like he knew he'd lost; when it was just Jay and him center stage he kept looking off to the side like he wasn't interested in the whole thing.
Congrats to Jay on a well-deserved win!

Terry and I were both pretty sure Jay was gonna win it by looking at the pic's Friday night on Mayhem....but we weren't sure!!!! Don't know if any of you saw the score sheets, Terry viewed one, I think from Mayhem or Flex online and Jay won by a pretty good margin. I have always been a big fan of Ronnie's a little disappointed but I think Jay winning is well deserved!!!!!

Jay Cutler was definetly a well deserved winner.Finally all that hardwork and efforts paid off.Ronnie shouldnt have even placed second i felt even Victor was looking better and should have placed ahead of Ronnie.Dexter was looking as the same Dexter from Arnold Classic,not much difference.Hats off to Toney Freeman for placing high and a great olympia showing but i felt he could have placed higher.Gustavo got a gift by placing 5th.David Henry and Troy Alves got robbed.Thats the way i saw it.

Thrilled for Jay! Wanted to see it, and thought he deserved it. But did not think that Ronnie would be denied!
Guess anything is possible, if you work hard wnough for it. And Jay has been presevering since 2001. Way to go, Jay.
And most important, he keeps his hair as he said he would! ;D

Wow… just when i thought Olympia judges would never relate Coleman to the second spot until he would have reached the magic number of 9 victories! And what was even more surprising to me was how Coleman didnt distance the competition (like in past years) during the back poses… i would even say that Cuttler had a bigger edge to Coleman from the back than from the front! Congrats to the new champ! Even if in my mind, Cuttler's physique is a bit too blocky compared to my idea of the ideal physique… Jackson, Martinez, Alves and Anthony were near perfection... very-very muscular, but not at the cost of a small waist and an outstanding V-taper!
