I'll chat with almost anyone, as most of you know and came across someone who has had his share of trials and fears. I wont "out " him, it's not my place, but we were sharing our difficulties over being masters level bodybuilders.
He's a NY resident, Masters level competitor, aiming for Masters National in Super heavyweight on 07.
His difficulty? In addition to serious scarring from abodominal surgery over the years, he's an 18 year HIV survivor. Factor in age and the odds are really stacked up agains him. Yet he understands that almost all bodybuilders have some handicapp the labor to overcome, and makes the best of his situation.
Guess what? He WINS!
I'm going to ask Tim to invite him over. I think we could all learn something from him.
Everytime you think YOU have it bad, you meet someone like this guy.
very humbling.

We traded eails this morning over goals and he very pointedly told me to get my experience at regionals but to shoot for Masters National in light heavy or heavy by 2010.
I just might do that.
