This is a little story that no one els would care about so I thought you guys might like it.
Today was back and tri day. I started to do some skull crushers with 3 warm up sets 10lb each side. I put on 45's and a guy came up to me towering over me about 6'1" 240lbs and said "what you gonna do with that, a bit heavy aint it?" I said I guess. I was wearing a large T-shirt and sweats. Then the shocker- he said let me show you how those are done correctly. I said ok. He did 3 then the 4th one I pretty much saved him from breaking his nose. I was like I think I'll try these. I did 10 reps with solid form and then put the weight down and said my name is Carl I weigh 150lbs how did I do? I didn't get an answere. lol

That's why I never volunteer information, I always end up feeling like that guy. Call it Kharmic Justice. HE didn't just give info, he Demonstrated. If i see someone who is really doing someitng bad IE squats, I'll offer advice if I think they will hurt themselves. I however, just say like sir, here are some things that I do that might help you out cause the way your doing it, you might injure yourself. If they want to take it as i'm some know it all, then by all means GET HURT, if they listen they will be happy.

For the most part at the gym I have Slayer blaring in my ears in a tunnel vision but, once in a while I see a newbie and offer some advice. Normally I dont go give any advice or demenstrations unless asked for.

Good stuff Carl....I love putting gym idiots in their place. I was training at the local Golds Gym one time and a big guy with a great tan, and decent upperbody, but sticklike legs, was walking around with his overlyloaded silicone breasted girlfriend, yelling and screaming during his sloppy sets with mediocre poundages....he also swaggered around between sets with a really big case of imaginary lat spread. I was doing arms with my training partner and he came over by us and looked at us as if we were a disease,he then did 5-6 sloppy alternate standing dumbell curls with the 50`s............so I took them and knocked out a strict set of 10 while seated with textbook form just to show him what time it was!!
